The scope of work consists of maintenance of MTL lanes, including removal of shrubs and weeds and disposal at the designated place, from Hosur-Hubballi to Jubilee Circle, Dharwad, for one year (2026-27). Eight labourers shall be engaged on a daily basis along with a tractor. Safety precautions, tools, jackets, helmets, and other necessary safety equipment shall be provided by the contractor. The contractor shall make necessary arrangements with HDMC/other concerned parties for dumping the waste materials. The area of cleaning includes MTL lanes on both LHS and RHS, footpaths, landscape medians, weep holes, weed removal, grade separator panel-side areas, ROB MTL lanes, etc., as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Necessary arrangements shall be made to avoid stagnation of water in BRT lanes, including removal of weeds, cleaning of vents and weep holes, removal of plastics, papers, leaves, cloths, etc., and ensuring free flow of water. Silt or soil spread over the road surface shall be removed during regular maintenance works. Soil deposits in the MTL lanes, if any, shall be removed as and when instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

A minimum of 4 labourers shall be engaged daily along with a tractor. The contractor shall provide all necessary safety precautions, tools, jackets, helmets and other required equipment. The contractor shall make necessary arrangements with HDMC or other concerned parties for dumping the waste materials. The cleaning area shall include the BRT lane grill sides, Grills, inside BRT lane sides, outside MTL sides, grade separators, ROB BRT lanes and other related areas. Silt or soil spread over the road surface shall be removed during regular maintenance works. Any soil deposits in the BRT lanes shall be removed as and when instructed by the In-charge Engineer. Necessary arrangements shall be made to prevent water stagnation in BRT lanes by removing weeds, cleaning vents and weep holes, removing plastics, papers, leaves, cloth and other waste materials and ensuring free flow of water. Cleaning shall also include the areas outside the periphery of Railway Station, BSNL, Mitrasamaj, CBT and NBS Dharwad Bus Stations, including disposal of the waste materials. All works shall be carried out as per the directions of the In-charge Engineer.
