Excavation in foundation and trenches etc. (including pipes and pits upto all depths) in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work, blasting and chiselling soft or hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, levelling of bed to correct grade stacking the excavated soil clear from the edge of excavation and returning the excavated soil after laying, jointing and testing of GI pipes in trenches in 15cm layers including consolidating each deposited layers by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil as directed in all leads and lifts and soring strutting and trimming dressing where ever required including restoration of un-metalled surface to its original condition including cost of diversion for traffic night signals fixing caution board, crossing over trenches for access to houses and fencing etc. complete in all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting of threaded portion GI Pipe by gas or electric plant including transportation of plant at site etc. complete in all respect in all leads and lifts. 50mm diameter

Laying, jointing and testing of GMS pipe bevelled edged conforming to 15:1239 of following size and class in trenches having random lengths of 5-7 mtrs including cost of fabrication of minimum 3 cut bends of required degree The pipe shall have inside & out side Galvanisation at manufacturer work conforming to 15:4736 (with upto date ammendments). The pipe shall be jointed with circumferencial butt welded joints by electric arc welding with minimum three layers of welds so as to achive the minimum effective thorat thickness and strength of weld conforming to IS: 816-1969 sepecification, by using welding electrodes of 2.50 mm to 6.30 mm of Advanı Oerlikon (Ador) CITOJET/Esab make, conforming to IS:814-1991, at site of work complete in all respects. Each butt welded joint shall be tested with dye-penetration test (with the kit consisting of 3 sprays of 250 ML each includes (a) Cleaner CL-96 (b) Penetrant PT-97 (c) Developer Div-98 of checkmate make) complete in all respects, including manual / mechanical handling of pipes in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfication of Engineer-in-charge (The earth work in treches and cost of MS flanges to be measured and paid for separately). Providing and Fixing Cast Iron Sluice Valve of PELICON/BIR/KARTAR make BIS No. 14846 class PN 1.00 with flange Table 5 including welding of flanges, Nuts & Bolts and Gasket etc. The sluice valve conforming to IS-780. The dia of valve as mentioned below complete in all leads and lifts and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer - in - Charge. 100 mm diameter

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for all heights: Walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, butteresses, plinth and string courses etc.in all leads and lifts.

Providing and Laying in position cement of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering -All work up to plinth level : 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 Coarse Sand ) : 4 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) in all leads and lifts.

Terms and conditions

The work shall be executed as per HPPWD/JSV/ ISI specifications and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

The cement and steel shall be issued by the department from JSV Divisional Store Raghunath Ka Padhar Mandi cement @ 368/- per bag, and GI Pipes free of Cost respectively.

The GI fittings shall be provided by the contractor at their own cost.

The contractor shall be fully responsble for watch and ward of the material at site of work.

Nothing shall be paid for rejected material/work.

1% labour cess will be deducted from the bill of the contractor.

Concrete work shall be done by using vibrator and concrete mixing plant.

Crushed aggregate will be used in concrete work.

GST as applicable will be borne by the contractor.

The rates should be inclusive with GST and carriage
