Supply of road marking paint conforming to IS 164 in various shades and of superior make, in sealed 15/20-litre drums, to be delivered to the airport site. The paint shall be of AAI approved make as provided in the list of approved makes. The agency shall be responsible for the supply, unloading at the designated site, appropriate storage at the AAI's store in complete as per the directions of EIC. - Yelllow paint (to be supplied as required)

Painting the markings of runway/taxi track/apron/isolation bay with a fully/semi-automatic paint applicator machine to provide a uniform finish with marking paint of approved make. The paint shall be supplied and stored by the agency at the client’s designated store as per the supply item. The agency shall be responsible for collecting the required quantity and appropriate color of paint based on the area to be covered (i.e., white for runways, and a combination of red, black, and yellow for aprons, isolation bay and taxiways) transporting it to the work site from AAI's store and returning any balance paint to the store after completion of work. Additionally, the agency shall take away the empty plastic buckets after the completion of work physically and nothing extra/deduction shall be done on this account. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of all these actions. The scope also includes the cost of T&P and cleaning of the surface (removal of dirt, seals, oil, grease, and foreign material) as per the direction and satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:The cost of paint is excluded and payment for the paint supply shall be made under the respective supply item.)

Removal of old runway markings using a surface scrubbing machine, followed by water jetting or blasting, to eliminate dust, grit, and foreign deposits without causing damage to the runway surface. The operation shall ensure no damage to the runway surface and maintaining the required surface texture and roughness, avoiding excessive smoothness, as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. After the scrubbing operation to remove the old marking, repainting with similar color to be carried out if required, to maintain the uniformity with respect to adjacent runway surface. (Note: The paint required for this shall be supplied as per the designated supply item, and its application shall be carried out as per the designated application item. Payment for paint supply and application shall be made under their respective items.)
