M&L moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering complete all as specified. (Measurements shall be taken after compaction).

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally clean the surface with air compressor to remove loose dirts etc. all as specified.

M&L applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen @ 5 Kg per 10 Sq.m using paving bitumen VG-30.

M&L applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with paving bitumen VG-30 @ 4.5 Kg per 10 Sqm on prepraed rough surface of semi dense asphaltic concrete complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge..

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam using paving bitumen VG-30 any penetration content @ 4% by weight of total mix laid using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8-12 tonne power vibrator roller and rolled to a uniform smooth surface (any consolidated thickness) complete all as specified and directed. Note: For design purpose minimum binder content shall be as described i.e. 4% for VG-30 grade bitumen and it shall not be less than the binder content as described under any circumstances. During design stage if binder content exceeds 4% in that case no extra payment shall be entertained to contractor for excess use of binder.

Scarifying or picking graveled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and not exc 50 mm deep for repairing road cuts & broken edges of road complete all as specified & directed

ML for 7.5 cm thick (compact thickness) WBM with granite, basalt coarse aggregates of grading 3 ( 63 to 40mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient materials and camber required for reparing roads cuts and broken edges of roads complete all as specified and as directed

M&L preparation of unsurfaced WBM surfaces by brooming with wire brushes for removing any caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or by air compressor to remove all loose dust/ dirt and applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 10kg per 10Sqm complete all as specified & directed

M&L bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content using paving bitumen of grade VG 30 penetration by weight of total mix laid using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted by using power vibrator roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified.

laying only of instant ready mix premixed bitumunious material for reparing depression on pot holescomplete all as directed. (Note : Ready mix premixed bituminious material shall be measured seperately under item No 12 ).

Supply only instant ready mix premixed bitumunious material consisting of granular material 5-20 mm crushed stone aggregrate with 5.5% of paving bitumen in 25 Kg sealed Bags. Make : Shali Patch of STP or equivalent as aprroved.

M & L for repair to pot holes of any depth, not exc. 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads , paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 30mm in depth(depth of potholes exc 30mm ) , making good by applying tack coat using paving bitumen VG-30 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm putting in premix bituminous macadam carpet well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8Kg per 10 Sqm , binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings , 6.3 mm size & , again well rammed complete all as directed.

M&L 2.00 mm thick and 100 mm width road markings like centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows, brackets and similar works on road surfaces as per IRC pattern with thermo plastic paint of approved quality and make with 8% glass beads laid at temperature 160 Degree celsius with a special applicator machine complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and traffic diversion arrangement. Complete removal of old layer of thermo plastic paint (any No of layers) in roads by paint removal or blower lamp to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
