REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE OF SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM, MANHOLES, BOUNDARY WALL, KOTA STONE / PARKING TILES , PLASTERING, BRICK WORK ETC AT DAD RESIDENTIAL COLONY SECTOR 35-B AND PCDA BUILDING SECTOR 09 UNDER GE CHANDIGARH

Deploying safaiwala for attending/ clearing daily complaints of blockages of floor traps, gully traps, WC's (Indian/ European) at Ground floor or above ground floors (upto fifth floor) upto first manhole including cleaning through door bends with and including necessary T & P required for this purpose. Note :- (a) The contractor shall provide 04 safaiwalas, per day for 8 Hrs to attend the above complaints for complete tenure of contract. The quoted rate by the contractor against this item shall deemed to be included the cost of the aforesaid manpower. (b) All the safaiwalas shall attend the MES complaint cell at Sector 35 B at 09:00 Hrs to collect the complaints and submit the same duly signed by the occupant at 1630 Hrs in the complaint cell. It will be responsiblity of contractor to ensure their attendance & completion of complaints . (c) Attendance register will be submitted with RAR duly signed by concened JE, Engg-In-Charge and contractor. (d) A panalty of @ Rs 1000/- per person per day will be deducted if any safaiwala is found absent. (e) The contractor will ensure the cleaning/clearing of all the complaints (irrespective of Nos) within 24 Hrs by deploying additional safaiwalas if needed. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. (f)Contractor shall be solely responsible for supplying all the safety measures required by the safaiwalas during working hours. (g) All the waste material/ sludge shall be disposed off out of MoD land.

Dewatering/Desluding of manholes (any size and depth), desilting and removing sludge from manholes as in foul conditons and removing of sludge beyond MoD land and deposited in borrow pits including excavation of borrow pits and covered with 10cm thick layers of soil complete all as specified and directed. Note for item No. 2: Dewatering /desludging shall be done by suction pump / any mechanical means and disposal by truck mounted trailors to dispose off sludge etc beyond MOD land earmaked by local Muncipal Corporation) & UT Chandigarh

Cleaning of underground sewage line/storm water drain pipes up to and including 200 mm bore of any type including in between manholes to manhole for cleaning and well flushing with water after cleaning .(The rate include for taking off manhole cover and re-fixing the same after cleaning /removing the waste materials and sludge to a distance near by suitable distance and depositing in the borrow pits as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(The rates also include for earth work /excavation and removal of surplus spoil for borrow pits) by mechanically complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning of under ground sewage line by excavation and breaking the existing sewage line (minimum two pipe length), removing the blockage, rejoining with new pipe length complete incl necessary material and labour, returning, filling, supply of new NP2 pipe of required lengths and required bore, beding the new pipe length with PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) all as directed in situations where cleaning is not possible by rodding, at any depth complete all as directed for 150mm bore pipe complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(b) The complaints where cleaning of blockage is not possible with rodding and is to be cleared by breaking existing line.

Excavating in trenches in soft/loose soil, n.exc. 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5 in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, pier holes, etc n.exc. 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out.

All as per item No 7 above but exc. 1.5 m but n.exc. 3.00 m in depth

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes, 150 mm internal dia (Salt glazed stoneware, AC or reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar including haunching and bed concrete.

Removal of surplus excavated spoil (Soils) not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing where directed by Engineer-in-Charge at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified.

S&F Factory made Precast RCC manhole covers with and incl frame designation LD 2.5, clear opening of frame 750x750mm ISI marked(IS 12592:2002) complete all as specified.
