Notes for Serial Item No. 1: [a] MANPOWER TO BE EMPLOYED: The contractor shall employ 3 Nos lift mechanics and 3 Nos Helper with sound knowledge and adequate experience in lift repair / maintenance, available Round the Clock. All the manpower employed shall report to Office of AGE [E/M]/ Complaint Cell for day to day maintenance and efficient operation of Lifts. [b] The rate quoted by the tenderer shall deemed to inclusive for all other spares like Push buttons, Door rollers, guide shoes, Brake coils, limit switches, door couplers, alarms, Position indicators (LOP), contactors, LED lights, Relays, Cabin fans, Lubrication oil, control fuses, Greases and buffing of landing, car panel and door wherever is required as directed by Engineer-in-charge etc which have not been catered for separately. No extra cost is admissible on this account and supply and fixing of all Major and Minor Spares viz. Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / LED Lights etc. (except Spares catered vide Serial Item No. 2 to 29 of BoQ ) as and when required for trouble free, smooth and efficient functioning of lifts including overhauling as and when required to all mechanical parts of lifts, Rewinding of Electric Motors, repair/maintenance of Gear Unit, repair / maintenance of Door Drive, Controllers, Pulleys, Limit Switches, Relays etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

[c] All the safety measures including ARDs shall be ensured for serviceable condition round the clock and nothing extra shall be paid on these accounts. [d] Spares catered vide Serial Item No. 2 to 29 of BoQ shall be measured and paid separately as "Supply Only" whenever required and rate quoted for Serial Item No. 1 of BoQ shall be excluding the same. However, fixing / repairs shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted. [e] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of testing of each lift by Licensed Lift Inspector of Government of Andhra Pradesh twice in Contract Period for worthiness of the Lift in respect of safety. Certificate issued by the Licensed Lift Inspector shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge and a copy of Certificate shall be displayed in all Lift Cabins as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. [f] Emergency Light and necessary tools shall be available in a tool box in the shift for smooth functioning of lifts. [g] Conveyance and communication system like mobile phone etc. shall be provided by the contractor to all Lift Mechanics and Helpers. [h] The contractor shall abide by the latest Labour Rules and Minimum Wages Act. [i] Wages paid by the contractor to the persons employed shall not be less than the minimum wages fixed by State / Central Government from time to time whichever is higher.

[j] The contractor is responsible for making subscription towards Insurance, EPF, ESI, Labour Welfare Cess etc., as applicable and shall pay Gratuity, Bonus etc to the Workmen as per existing Labour Rules / Acts / Regulations and rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the same. [k] DRESS CODE: The contractor shall provide the workmen with Dark Blue Colour Uniform [Formal Pant & T-Shirt] with labels showing / printed i.e. "Name of the Firm and Designation" on Front and "GE [U - I] [V] & GE [U-II] [V]" on the back of the T-Shirt along with protective clothing / gear. The contractor shall also provide shoes to the workers and the persons shall not be allowed to enter the work site without wearing shoes. [l] The contractor shall be responsible for all Accidents / Injuries happening to the workmen. Any accident causing Minor / Fatal Injury, Partial Disability due to any untoward incident or non-adherence to Safety and IE Regulations or fault in maintaining of Lifts System / Safety Mechanism or on account of any mishandling / wrong operation / lack of knowledge of safety precautions or on account of any circumstances beyond his/their control, the contractor shall be solely responsible for settling all claims of compensation to the deceased, failing which department will have a right to recover any sum indicated / claimed by Labour Commissioner / Court authorities. No claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. No compensation is payable by the department on this account. Contractor shall provide first aid boxes to meet any emergency situations. [m] The contractor shall carryout the comprehensive maintenance of the lifts catered under subject work through the Original Equipment Manufacturer of that lift or from their accredited / authorised agencies only. The lowest bidder shall submit MoU from the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the Lift or from their accredited / authorised agencies to provide technical support, trained persons for maintenance & testing and spares before commencement of the work to GE. The spares shall be of the make as per existing or as per the OEM.

Supply only the automatic rescue device to Goods lift of capacity 2000 kg. Make:-ECE/IES/AS PER OEM.

Supply only Converter Card of Automatic Rescue Device to Convert 72 Volts DC Input to 24 Volts DC Output for Control Circuit Goods lift of capacity 2000 Kg complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Mosfet Card of Automatic Rescue Device to covert 72 Volts DC to 230 Volts AC 3 Amps Rating complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Rotary Encoder for Speed feedback of Main Drive complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Door Motor with Built-in Rotary Encoder and suitable VVVF Drive for Car Door operation complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes for Serial Item No. 01 to 29 of BoQ: [a] The work shall be carried out in the Lifts installed at Naval Park, Nausena Baugh, INS Dega, ND (V) (Kuthar Block) INS Satavahana Under GE [Utility-I], Visakhapatnam [b] Make of the Lifts :ECE/ IES/OTIS/JOHNSON [c] The contractor shall carryout the repair works under this contract through the Original concerned Equipment Manufacturer of the respective lifts . The contractor shall submit MoU from the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the Lifts to provide technical support, trained persons for carrying out repairs/ replacement & testing of lift components/ accessories/ controllers alongwith technical bid. The spares shall be of the make as per existing or as per OEM recommendations.
