DAY TO DAY UPKEEP AND CERTAIN REPAIR TO RIGID/ FLEXIBLE PAVEMENT OF AIRFIELD IN TECH AREA AT AF STN HALWARA

M&L for repair to concrete slab surface (depressed portion / cracked portion) by cutting damaged / spilled portion to required depth removing useless, worthless, all loose and foreign materials etc to a distance exceeding 500 m but not exceeding 1000 m. Cleaning the surface thoroughly with brushes and finally with compressed air, filling and levelling the surface with epoxy mortar after priming including formwork, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of Cement Concrete of in ground floor and as in pavings exc 15cm in thickness (above ground level) in patches & removal of rubbish outside MoD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surface by hand roller 0.2 to 0.5 tonne roller and well rammed with power rammers to achieve 98% Procter density, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 200mm thick DLC with 7 days strength as 10 Kg/Sqcm, design mix, using 40mm graded stone aggregate with minimum cement content 180 kg/cum including spreading, rolling and consolidating to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10 mm thick layer of coarse sand, spread, levelled, watered & well rammed, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 125 micron polythene film laid over sand layer including necessary cuttuing, overlap not less than with 75 mm side lap & 150 mm end lap, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Laps shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) Sand layer shall be measured & paid seprately under relevent item.

M&L Ready Mix Concrete M-25 using 40mm graded aggregate complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Construction joints, dummy joints (contraction joints) and expansion joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Brooming to surfaces or making impressions of expanded metal while concrete is green, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming 25mm wide expansion joints to a full depth of concrete filled with polyurethane joint sealant compounds using mechanical means to a depth of 12mm including 2 coats of primer and fixing approved quality backup 30mm dia polyethylene rod over 25mm wide expansion pad in position as required, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming 10mm wide construction joints by cutting upto 2/3 depth of total thickness filled with polyurethane joint sealant compounds using mechanical means including 2 coats of primer and fixing approved quality of backup 12mm dia polyethylene rod in position as reqd complete all as per manufacturers instructions using marking taps to avoid slippage on sides, complete all as specified and directed.
