Outsourcing of Services round the clock in three shifts, each shift of 08 Hours for 24X7 including all Sundays and holidays for 11 KV HT Main receiving substation Vembanad in Naval base Kochi by keeping all the equipments of MRS Complex in serviceable condition including attending interruptions in complete HT network and making functional by interchanging of HT switch gear/RMU operation and maintaining of all the feeders incoming and outgoing and attending any fault occurs in feeders and carrying out jobs like disconnecting/reconnecting/trip setting of RMU/HT/LT switch gear/APFC panel/AMF panel/transformer including tap setting in any substation in Naval Base, isolating faulty system/cable/network and restoring power supply for its normal operation complete all specified and directed.

NOTES FOR SERIAL ITEM NO 1:- (i) The Electricians should have well knowledge to work with HT 11 KV line/switch gears, AMF/APFC panel, operation of LT switch gears along with required tools and safety measures. (ii) Contractor has to ensure minimum two Operators per Shift. If not, Penalty / Recovery as per relevant PS clause shall be imposed. Any other man power of helper shall be provided by the contractor as per site requirement. Rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (iii) The Format / Sample of Log Book (Hard copy) shall be approved by the department. The contractor has to provide the same as per Sample and get it approved from the Engineer-in-Charge before commencement of the work. (iv) Unit Rate shall be deemed to be including all type of taxes, contribution towards social welfare of workers i.e., EPF, ESIC, Insurance etc, necessary documents shall be provided before claiming of any Payments to Engineer in Charge. (v) Certificate of Technical Education qualification of the employing person shall be produced before assigning the job. (vi) The individual to be deployed shall initially be interviewed by GE. (vii) The individual should be able to study the working Electrical drawings and Maintaining of HT Network/System. (viii) Staff shall be deployed as per roaster as approved by GE. (xii) Security of entire power house shall be rest with contractor to ensure that no other persons should be entered without the permission of GE.

NOTES FOR SERIAL ITEM NOs. 2 to 5:- (i) The Electricians/FGM should have well knowledge to work with operation of DG set, HT/LT switch gears/AMF/APFC Panel along with required tools and safety measures. (ii) Contractor has to ensure minimum one operator per Shift. If not, necessary Penalty / Recovery as per relevant PS clause shall be imposed. Any other man power of helper shall be provided by the contractor as per site requirement. Rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (iii) The Format / Sample of Log Book (Hard copy) shall be approved by the department. The contractor has to provide the same as per Sample and get it approved from the Engineer-in-Charge before commencement of the work. (iv) POL/fuel (Diesel) collection as per requirement basis from Store yard/Outlet of Naval Base and shall be part of the Job at No Extra cost. Fuel shall be collected by staff deployed under this contract irrespective of trade. (v) The Spares including consumable are to be replaced through authorized OEM. The same shall be supplied by the department based on survey conducted by the department and OEM. (vi) Certificate of Technical Education qualification of the employing person shall be produced before assigning the job. (vii) The individual should be able to study the working Electrical drawings and Maintaining of HT Network/System. (viii) Staff shall be deployed as per roaster as approved by GE. (xii) Security of entire power house shall be rest with contractor to ensure that no other persons should be entered without the permission of GE.

NOTES FOR SERIAL ITEM NO 1 TO 5:- GST LIABILITY It is considered prudent to specify that the GST is included in the rates quoted against items of outsourcing as well as items of repairs/comprehensive maintenance to be paid separately under material and labour’ parts. MONTHLY WAGES Monthly wages shall be paid by the contractor to the workers/labour only online. Proof of statutory deductions in favour of workers/labour shall be submitted by the contractor to the Engineer in Charge along with RAR/Final Bill for verification. The contractor will be required to submit copy of valid labour licence from the Labour Commissioner within 15 days of commencement of the work BASIC RATE, EPF, ESIC, BONUS, OVER HEAD PROFIT, TAXES & LWC The bidder to quote basic rate, employer's contribution towards Employees Provident Fund (EPF) liability, contribution towards Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), contribution towards bonus, overhead and profit and labour welfare cess (LWC) separately, as applicable depending upon the manpower requirement. This will create onus on the contractor to ascertain the relevant rates and quote accordingly. The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes, cess, and levies as applicable including GST as prevailing applicable law. Contractor shall be sole liable for the same.

Taking down carefully existing aluminium/copper point wiring on batten or in PVC conduit or in MS conduit with GI earth wire etc (for light, fan, socket or power ) complete and making good the disturbed surfaces of walls, Floors, ceilings etc to match with existing one complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for point wiring using approved colour coding as per IS (Red, Black and Green for single phase circuits) with 1.5 sqmm nominal cross-sectional area, single core PVC insulated FRLS, unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable 1100 Volts grade ISI-694 marked drawn through heavy duty PVC conduit (surface/concealed)with all conduit accessories with sunken type pressed steel boxes 2mm thick MS sheet/pressed steel duly painted with two coats of anti corrosive paint/aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer internally and two coats of black bituminous paints over a coat of red oxide primer externally ,covered with 3mm thick laminated hylem top cover for fixing of switches sockets and fan regulators etc including 1.5 Sqmm nominal cross sectional area, single core PVC insulated FRLS, unsheathed multistranded copper conductor cable earth continuity wire to common earth and connected to earth dolly, for one light /fan point controlled by one switch one way complete all as specified and directed. Note: - The work has to be carried out round the clock when ever be required at site

An Amount of Credit Schedule shall be deducted to arrive the Contract Sum.
