Preparing the WBM surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose, dirt etc and material and labour for applying priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) (VG-10) viscosity grade @ 10 kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M &L premix bituminous macadam mixed with paving bitumen @ 4% (by weight of total mix) binder contant (VG-10) viscosity grade any penetration laid, rolled and campacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness n.exc 75mm) with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note:applicable to serial item No 2 :The quantity of bitumen shall be provided as per Design Mix approved by GE. (The cost of transportation of the material to the Govt approved lab and design mix charges shall be borne by the contractor). For the purpose of quoting, the contractor shall consider 4% binder by weight of total mix . However the work shall be executed as per approved mix design and price adjustment shall be done only for variation (plus or minus ) in quantity of binder priced as supply only rate of bitumen (as per purchase voucher of main producer) plus 15 % to cover contractor's overhead & profit.

M&L for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) stone chippings mixed with 5.5% of binder contents paving bitumen (VG-10) viscosity grade by weight of total mixed in hot mix plant, transported to site on tippers, and laid with mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note applicable to serial item No 4 :The quantity of bitumen shall be provided as per Design Mix approved by GE. M & L for forming 12 mm thick expansion joint filled preformed bituminous filler and top 30 mm primed and sealed with sealing compound grade A thickness of concrete 250 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Forming construction joint (Dummy) 65 mm deep 10mm wide filled with sealing compouned grade 'A' complete all as specified and directed .

DEFECTIVE WORK M&L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) laid in one layer WBM with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63mm to 40mm size) or grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) of sand stone spread, rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.
