FRP is chosen for its durability, lightweight nature, and resistance to weathering, making it ideal for outdoor or semi-outdoor station areas like station concourse. Materials: i.Substrate: High- grade FRP material, minimum 3-5 mm thick. ii.Resin & Gelcoat: ISO resin gelcoat ESPOL-20 (Scott Bader Co.) for premium quality. UV-stabilized, fire- retardant per IS 15778. Density: 1.5-1.8 g/cm³. iii.Surface Finish: Multi-layer airbrushed/hand- painted finish. Materials: i.Substrate: High-grade FRP, minimum 4-5 mm thick for sculptures above8 ft height. ii.Resin & Gelcoat: ISO resin gelcoat ESPOL-20 (Scott Bader Co.) for premium weatherproof finish. iii.Framework: Internal Mild Steel (MS) structure using Apollo pipes (50x50x2 mm/ as per structural design). Frame will be rust-protected with zinc primer. iv.Surface Finish:Multi-layer airbrushed and hand-painted finish.All surfaces sealed with Dupont PU paints for long-life protection against UV, rain, and dust. v.Fixings: Heavy-duty MS base plate with anchor bolts / RCC foundation (as per site condition).
