Dismantling steel work upto a height between ridge and floor level upto 5 metres in single section including dismembering:- channels, angles, tees and flats [HSR 8.21 (b)]

Fe-500 and above EQR TMT steel bars for RCC works where not including in the complete rate of RCC including bending, dinding and placing in position complete (N.S) Note:- Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work, excluding overlaps, from the length so measured the weight of reinfocement shall be calculated in tones on the basis of IS:1732, wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing shaal not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement. Corrugates asbestos sheet roofing 7 mm thick sheets fixed with G.I hooks and bolts, limpet and bitumen washers complete, fixed in position, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses (HSR 13.19)
Chamfering of MS square bars as per PWD specification or as desired by Engineer-in-charge
Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Materials obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, wood work have been calculated taking assumption that 100% of theoretical material will be retrieved. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :- Note: All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this building. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price are:- (i) Bricks @ Rs. 4.50/Each
Bricks bats @ Rs. 450/- Per CUM
Steel Scrap @ 2500/- Per Quintal
