REPAIR TO RCC ROOF TREATMENT IN TECH AREA AT AF STN HALWARA UNDER GE (AF) HALWARA

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc with and including brushing with neat cement slurry of 3.0 kg of cement per square metre complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for providing 50mm thick cement concrete type B-1, (1:2:4) (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in padding to be provided for slope etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 with water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instruction on brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid under respective item.

Supply only integral water proofing compound complete all specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of roof top surfaces, providing and applying single component elastic cold applied polyurethene modified acrylic roofing system, co-elastic technology (CET) based on modified polyurethene and fully fibre reinforced, having Sun Reflectivity index (SR) of 106 on top of concrete roof surfaces. All cracks upto 3 mm at corner joints, channel and parapets should be treated with crack seal. Applying three coats including one coat of primer of Shali Urethne BTD/ Sikalastic 560/ smart care damp proof ultra having coverage @ min 0.75kg/m2 and dilution upto 10% and laying reinforced fibre net and applying two coats of of shaliurethene BTD/Sikalastic 560/smart care damp proof ultra @ total consupmtion 2 kg/m2 in two coats for maintaining minimum dry film thickness 1.5mm and elongation at break of free film of approx 350%. The materials shall be applied with brush or roller, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. Note : (i) 6 Hrs interval between two coat will be mantain. All auxilary and accessories involved during applacation should be supplied by single manufacturer as a part of system. (ii) The water proofing treatment shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or their authorised applicators duly approved by GE in writing. (iii) 5% amount of the total amount of water proofing treatment shall be retained as a guarantee and shall be released after 10 years. However contractor may deposit the FDR of same amount in favour of GE. If contractor fail to rectify the defect pointed out during this period in writing, the defect shall be got rectified at contractor' risk and cost and the payment shall be made from the amount kept reserved or by encashing the FDR deposited by the contractor as guarantee. The contractor's quoted rates for this item shall deemed to be inclusive of this aspect.

Material and labour for applying evenly a tack coat of industrial bitumen 85/25 @ 1.2 Kg per sqm including cleaning of surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Material and labour for fixing APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3 Kg/ sqm and min 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (weight not less than 150 gms/sqm) land on primered surface by torched application complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note : (i) The water proofing treatment shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or authorized applicators duly approved by GE in writing. (ii) 5% amount of the total amount of water proofing treatment shall be retained as a gurantee (on account of any defect raised/ noticed during a period of ten years) and shall be released after 10 years of completion of work. However, contractor may deposit the FDR of same amount in favour of GE. If contractor fails to rectify the defect pointed out during this period, the defect shall be got rectified at contractor risk and cost and the payment shall be made from the amount kept reserved or by encashing the FDR deposited by the contractor as gurantee. The contractors quoted rates for this item shall be deemed to be inclusive of this aspect.

Material and labour for applying two coats of aluminium paint over surface of any description over in 10 cm width or girth not otherwise described complete all as specified and directed y Engineer in Charge.

Material and labour for providing PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.
