REPAIR,REPLACEMENT AND DAY TO DAY MAINTENANCE OF WATER SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION LINES,DI,CI,GI AT MAKARPURA AF STN VADODARA

Attending complaint /Repair/rectification of leakages to under ground water supply distribution lines 40mm to 50 mm dia HDPE/PVC/PPR/ GI tubing with provision of necessary excavation, returning and filling in as required, tightening of loose joints of union, elbow, sockets etc, threading if required including replacement of HDPE/PVC/PPR/GI unions/sockets/nipples as required at site complete all as specified and directed. Note :Spares/GI fittings required to be replaced and shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

All same as per item No 1.00 above but for tubing 80 mm dia

Attending routine compliants of over ground /on wall/on roof external water supply line including rectification of minor defects by taking down of existing HDPE/PVC/GI tubing up to 20mm/25 mm dia, cutting/threading and making joints and cleaning for any blockages, opening of float valve of service tanks, cleaning and fixing the same in its position, replacement of gate valve/float valve packing sheet of gate valve and including replacement of HDPE/PVC/ GI nions/sockets/nipples etc as required at site complete all as specified and directed. Note :Spares HDPE/PVC/GI fittings required to be replaced and shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

M & L for Detection of leakage in main water line and attending break down of water supply pipe line and repair to CI /DI/HDPE water mains of size 80 mm to 100 mm dia at a given notice including necessary excavation in mud, in any type of soil by manual or using special T &P such as JCB etc. De-watering from the trenches by using pump sets, rectification of leakages, fixing of CI/DI/HDPE specials such as collars bends/tail peaces etc and making joints complete all as specified and as directed. Note:-(i) Repair rectified by cokking of CI pipe are deeemed to be incuded with unit rate of job. (ii) CI specials, lead Joints, D-Joints, Clamp joints, mechanical joint etc shall be measured and paid under respective items of sch 'A'.

All as per item No 4 above but for CI/DI water mains of size150 mm bore.

All as per item No 4 above but for CI water mains of size 200 mm bore. Notes for Sl item No 1 to 6:- (a) The contractor will be alloted complaints at MES complaint cell on daily basis on all working days and sufficient tradesman / resources will be deployed by him/her for completion of day to day comaplaints within 12 hours from the time of reporting. Any delay beyond above mentioned time limit without intimation of sufficient cause, penalties will be recovered twice of the quoted rate for each un-attended complaint. (b) A detailed log of complaints with completion/non-completion remarks from users/MES will be maintained by the contractor and the same will be updated on daily basis in consulatation with JE E&M/Engr-in-Charge. (c) The contractor will make suitable arrangment for emergency complaints and will notify authorised representive/Engr-in-Charge about extraordinary circumstances for probable non-completion or delay in rectification of complaints beyond stated time limit set for disposal of complaint. In case of any dispute the decision of accepting officer will be final and binding in this regard.

(d) The contractor will intimate MES authority well in advance if electric shutdown is required during rectification of complaints. (e) The quoted rated is deemed to be inclusive of transportation and other expenses required for the resource deployment at the complaint site around scattered Airforce station at Makarpura. (f) The contractor will maintain location wise record of each spare/fittings utilized as per inventry format given by AGE E/M and the same shall be submitted to E/M store yard on daily basis. (g) The stationery required for the job work such as complaints registers, job card and T&P shall be arranged and maintained by the contractor. (h) The cost of excavation / earth work and repairs to damaged roads, LT UG/HT cables, existing structure etc shall be deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate and no extra payment shall be allowed on this account. (j) Spares/GI fittings required to be replaced and shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Hiring of JCB beyond 4 hours for rectification of leackage required against item no 4 to 6 of BOQ. Note- Quoated rate deemed to be included for provision of operator of JCB and fuel required.
