Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement. Providing Weep Holes in retaining walls above Ground Level at 1.5 m square grid comprising 100mm dia heavy duty PVC pipes ISI marked of minimum 6kg. Pressure filled with No-fine concrete complete as per drawing and technical specifications 2706 &; 2200.

Back filling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specification as per clause 710.1.4 of IRC:78 & 2200 of MoRT&H specification.

Providing and laying precast reinforced cement concrete M-35 grade with minimum cememt content 350 kg per cum for construction of Girders, cross girders etc. concrete using Ordinary Portland Cement of grade 43 appropriate sand, aggregate, water, admixtures in suitable proportions as per approved mix design, as per approved drawings supplied by the Engineer-in-charge, including all types of shuttering, centering, necessary tools, plants, machinery, and all related operations as required to complete the work with all leads, lifts and depths true to line, level and position all complete (excluding the cost of reinforcement steel, complete as per clause No. 1100,1500,1700 and 2300 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013).) The item also includes cost of transportations of precast RCC girders up to 40 mtr span to site, launching and other operations with respect to launching thereof and putting in place, if required.

Providing and fixing 65 mm dia G.I Pipe hand rail over the crash barrier kerb consisting of MS base plate, embedded fasterner and nuts. MS vertical plates and pipes etc, as shown in the drawings and as per specifications and painting the same with 3 or more coats of paints. All the railling components as mentioned above to be hot dip galvanised with a zinc coating of at least 175 gm/sqm. Item to include all incidental works required to complete the work as per the directions of the Engineer-in-charge. (N.S)

Providing and installing single strip seal expansion joints of SANFIELD,METCO,MAGEBA and M/s auto steel industrial with a total allowable maximum movement 70mm as per Clause 2606 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge Works (5th Revision) 2013 supplemented with manufacturer’s recommendations. Entire installation is to be carried out strictly in the presence of manufacturer's representative only, at all times. The seal of the expansion joint shall be such as not to permit any dust collection at all times.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per clause 503 of MoRT&H specification.

Providing and laying 40/30mm thick bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-40 @ 5.4 per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site laying with a hydrostatic pver finisher with sensor MoRT&H control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause no. 507 complete in all respect. If bitumen required more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. Note: - Where there is only BC on existing black top, cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification 5th revision clause No. 3004.3, which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for cracks sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work

Providing and laying 25mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen VG-40 meeting the requirements given in table 500-29, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine-grained hard stone chipping of 13.2 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at an approximate spacing of 10 cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surfaces not less than 100OC, protruding 1 mm to 4 mm over mastic surface, all complete as per clause 516 of MoRT&H Specifications 5th revision 2013

Drainage spouts complete as per drawing and techincal specification as per clause 2705 of MoRT&H specification.

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflector zing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Design mix cement concrete of grade M-15 with minimum cement contents 240 kg/cum in first storey upto 4 metres above plinth level (HSR 10.71)

Painting two coats excluding primingcoat with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new wood work or metallic or plastered or concrete surfaces to give an even shade (HSR 16.3)

Shuttering for faces of concrete foundation and foundation beams (vertical or battering) (HSR 9.13)

Centring and shuttering for faces of walls, partitions, retaining walls, well steining and the like (vertical or battering) including attached pilasters, buttresses etc. (HSR 9.5)

Centring and shuttering for flat surfaces such as suspended floors, roofs, landins, chhajjas, shelves etc. inlination not exceeding 25 degree with horizontal (HSR 9.1)

Construction of embankment, sub grade and shoulders of new road with soil of minimum CBR (4 days soaked) of 8% obtained from borrow pit with all lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The finished road surface will be as per X-section approved by employer with respect to GTS. At no place top of sub grade of road shall be less than 0.90 m above adjoining NSL. NSL for a block of 100m will be worked as mean of 6 levels taken on 20 m center to center length of road. These six levels are at three location on both side one at edge ROW. Other at 5 m and 10 m away from ROW. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 2738.57 cum. Then actual quantity (less than 2738.57 cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 2738.57 cum, then only 2738.57 cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached at section 9 of DNIT. Note: If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC –SP-89-2010 as approved by SE-in-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land.

Providing and laying 150mm th. granular sub base consisting of uniform layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading –II of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1. Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Material and operation manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing & laying 75 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-I) 63 to 45mm gauge wearing coat to Water Bound Macadam in one layer using screening type 'B' compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications of road & bridges (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respect. Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing & laying 75 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53 to 22.4 mm gauge wearing coat to Water Bound Macadam in one layer using screening type 'B' compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications of road & bridges (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respect. Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (S.S grade - I) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg/Sqm using mechanical means as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No. 502. Note:- 1) In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. (ii) In case of any difference in the unit of any Non-schedule items depicted in this DNIT and the conventional unit of the N.S. items as per practice in this department, the conventional unit as per practice shall be applicable.
