M&L for complete removal of existing treatment by scrapping with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 80 grit having dia of 7" / 9" to make the surface free from dust, loose paint etc by skilled labour complete all as directed.

M&L for 2 mm (average thickness) white cement based putty including sand papering the puttied surfaces to form an even and smooth surface and applying two coats of weather proof exterior emulsion paint over and including priming coat of exterior primer (of same brand of paint) over newly or untreated plastered surfaces to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine with a flow speed of min 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI by allowing 6-8 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coat with paint in single colour or with two colour combinations as directed at a height upto 12 mtr from ground level complete all as specified and directed.

Note for BoQ Item No 1 to 3: (a) The work shall be executed by authorized applicator of manufacturer of Paints proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by Garrison Engineer.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of walls and cornices by booming down or steel wire brushing; scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots etc and applying one coat of oil bound distemper on wall using Airless spray technology with max working pressure of 3300 PSI and capable of operating single spray gun with a max material hose length of 30 mtr. The spray machine should be of reputed manufacturer with pro guard technology and capability of tracking pressure and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and accessories for applying distemper should be able to spray in hard to reach areas and penetration of distemper on the surface complete all as specified and directed. Note -: The work shall be executed by authorized applicator of manufacturer of Paints proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by GE.
