various other offices for
meetings/worksites/locations as approved
by the Authority or his nominated
representative: i. For visits to the office of
Authority, any other place beyond 100
km of AE HQ & outside the Railway
division in which the project lies - train
charges by AC-II tier for Team leader and
Resident Engineer and AC-III tier for
remaining personnel. For travels in local
Railway, fare of train by 3 AC shall be
admissible on production of ticket. ii. For
visits to any place which involves train
journey more than 14 hours - Air fare
economy class for which approval of
CAO(C) or HAG Level Officer is required.
iii. In case of stay beyond 100 km,
Accommodation including daily allowance
charges - Rs. 6,000/- per day for Team
Leader/Chief Project Manager/Project
Manager and Rs. 4,000/- per day for
other Personnel approved by the
Authority representative for X category
cities. iv. Visits to the concerned offices of
Dy Chief Engineer/C, Dy CSTE/C , Dy
CEE/C Office & DRM of the division in
which the project lies will not be
considered as out station travel. v. In
case of stay beyond 100 km,
Accommodation including daily allowance
charges - Rs. 3,000/- per day for Team
Leader/Chief Project Manager/Project
Manager and Rs. 2,000/- per day for
other Personnel approved by the
Authority representative for visit to other
places other than X category cities. vi. In
case of change of HQ beyond 50 km
distance with approval of CAO(C) or HAG
Level Officer, composite transfer grant
equal to 50% of the monthly
remuneration is admissible. vii. For visits
to New Delhi, Economy Class Air fare will
be paid for Team Leader only. viii.
Reimbursement can be made for travel in
train / bus in a class/type lower than that
specified for the category. ix.
Accommodation & food charges indicated
above will be increased in accordance
with provisions in Clause 4.7.1 (iii) of the
Agreement@ 3% per annum. x.
Reimbursement for travel by AC Public
Bus for all personnel. xi. X - Category
cities: New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata,
Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad,
Ahmedabad & Pune. xii. The restrictions
on length of absence from headquarters
for payment of accommodation including
daily allowance charges are as follows: 1.
If the length of absence from
headquarters is < 5 hours, percentage of
charges payable = 30 % 2. If the length
of absence from headquarters is between
5 hours and 12 hours, percentage of
charges payable = 70 % 3. If the length
of absence from headquarters is > 12
hours, percentage of charges payable =
