M&L for preparation of existing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 5 Kg/10 Sqm with mechanical sprayer and providing 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminous premixed carpet, using 0.405 Cum of stone chippings mixed with 21.90 Kg of binder (Paving bitumen VG-10), rolled and compacted to required level, camber, gradient to a uniform and smooth surface with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and providing premixed sand seal coat using 0.06 cum of coarse sand mixed with 6.8 Kg of binder (Paving bitumen VG-10), rolled to a uniform and smooth surface with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Premixed bituminous carpet shall be mixed in Mechanical Mixol at work site and laid / spread manually to uniform and smooth surface.

M&L for hot applying 2.5mm thick with thermoplastic road marking material of white or golden yellow in colour in uniform thickness with glass beads as per clause no. 803 of MORTH specification of work, including cleaning of road surfaces, heating the materials within specific temperature and road marking with all arrangement required for proper completion of work etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair to pot holes n. exc. 30mm depth, area not exe 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths , etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer of Grade VG-10 @ 5 Kg/10 Sqm, with and including putting in premixed bituminous carpet as specified for thin bituminous carpet 30mm thick, well rammed (including supply of premixed binder and sand), depth of pot holes n. exe 30 mm thick and rolling with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Premixed bituminous carpet shall be mixed in Mechanical Mixol at work site and laid / spread manually to uniform and smooth surface.
