Surface excavation n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loosec soil including removing excavated soil to a distance exceeding 1.5 Kilometre but not exceeding 5.00 Kilometre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 meter above the starting point , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Hard core of gauge exceeding 63 mm but not exceeding 100 mm of broken stone or boulders , deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete ,25 mm thick (1:2:4) type B-0, using 12.5 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in sub base finished even & rough to receive the bedding mortar in and including demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete ,75 mm thick (1:4:8) type D-2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates topping as in sub base ,foundations, filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line,level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting openings, through brick walls build in cement mortar for door, window and other openings or enlarging existing openings. converting window into door openings, etc. or cutting out defective brick work for under-pinning, including providing, fixing and removing shoring, cleaning and stacking bricks, removing surplus serviceable bricks, hard-core, etc.. to store and rubbish not exc. 50m , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

First quality glazed ceramic coloured tiles of 450x300x7 mm thick fixed and laid on vertical surfaces such as skirting, dados and risers to steps etc laid over and including 10mm thick cement plaster in CM (1:4) set and jointed in neat cement paste of honey like consistancy and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles in and including dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Notes :- (i) Design, pattern and colour of tiles will be as approved by GE. (ii) Tile work to be executed in any position or in any patches or as per site requirement.

First quality, Non skid ceramic coloured tiles, 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 Sq.m but not exceeding 0.18 Sq.m, laid in floors with neat cement slurry @ 3.00 kg/Square Metre over and including 15 mm thick screed bed of cement mortar (1:6) including pointing in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles in and including dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Notes :- (i) Design, pattern and colour of tiles will be as approved by GE. (ii) Tile work to be executed in any position or in any patches or as per site requirement.

Vitrified ceramic tiles (light Shade) 10 mm thick (square/ractangular) coloured polished tiles, area of each tile not exceeding 0.36 sqm in floors etc. laid in floors with neat cement slurry @ 3.00 kg/Square Metre over and including 15 mm thick screed bed of cement mortar (1:6) including pointing in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles in and including dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and removal of rubbish outside MoD land ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Vitrified ceramic tiles (light Shade) 10mm thick (square/ractangular) coloured polished tiles, area of each tile not exceeding 0.36 sqm as in skirting, dados and risers to steps etc laid over and including 10mm thick cement plaster in CM (1:4) set and jointed in neat cement paste of honey like consistancy and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles in and including dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and removing rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge. Notes :- (i) Design, pattern and colour of tiles will be as approved by GE. (ii) Tile work to be executed in any position or in any patches or as per site requirement.

Granite (of any type) tiles 20mm thick machine cut, bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match the shade of granite stone including grinding ,moulding and polishing and laid over 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 in and including demolition of stone slab and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc, laid bedded and pointed in white cement with pigment,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Note :- Granite work to be executed in any position or in any patches or as per site requirement.

Marble work 18 to 20mm thick (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars,window cills, cooking platforms and like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with marble shadeof Makrana white as in flooring laid over 10 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 in and including demolition of stone slab and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc, laid bedded in white cement mortar,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Preparation of new plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over and including 1mm thick wall care putty to smoothening the surface by using sand paper , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preperation of old surfaces of walls including brooming down or steel wire brushing scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots etc; rubbing down and stopping of surfaces by using sand paper and applying one coat of oil bound distemper , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down carefully aluminum door/window Chowkhat or frame without taking of shutter from the frame and refixing in same opening after inspecting the parts/members of doors including minor repairs as required and removing unservicable members and replace as with new ones ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Replacment of aluminium section, glass and rubber packing shall be measured and paid separetly.

Taking down carefully aluminum shutters of aqny description exceeding 1.00 Sq. m but not exceeding 2.00 sqm and refixing in same opening after inspecting the parts/members of doors including minor repairs as required and removing unservicable members and replace as with new ones ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Replacment of aluminium section, glass and rubber packing shall be measured and paid separetly.

Replacement of damaged aluminium beading of aluminium door/ window with new beading , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Replacement of damaged Rubber Gasket of aluminium door/ window with new Gasket , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Aluminium powder coating (miniumum thickness of powder coating is 50 micron) frame for doors, windows,ventilators with one or more rebates including joining cleat for fixing etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Aluminium powder coating (miniumum thickness of powder coating is 50 micron) work for shutters of doors, windows, ventilators, and partitions (Fixed portions) with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top,bottom and sides with equired EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing/ paneling, C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawing and all as directed by Engineer -in-charge.

Aluminium anodised grill (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS :1868 with minimum anodic coating of grade AC15 of approved design/pattern, with approved standard section and fixed to the existing window frame with C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws @ 200 mm centre to centre , including cutting the grill to proper opening size for fixing and operation of handles and fixing approved anodised aluminium standard section around the opening, all complete as per architectural drawing and all as directed by Engineer -in-charge.

Factory made solid PVC door frame of size 50mmx47mm made out of 5mm plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with MS square tube, supplied and fitted as per specification & drawing and as per manufacturer's instructions and shown on drawing in section 8 on Page 180 of SSR Part-II ,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Factory made solid PVC moulded door shutter With Particle Board Core 28 to 30mm thick (stiles), with 2, 4, or 6 raised panel design with 2mm thick moulded PVC sheet on the front face & 2mm plain colour PVC sheet on back face supplied and fitted as per specification & drawing and as per manufacturer's instructions and shown on drawing in section 8 on Page 181 of SSR Part-II ,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Butt hinges 100 mm size , extruded aluminium alloy with galvanised mild steel hinge pin, anodised and fixed, type C-21 ISI marked ,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Barrel tower bolts aluminum anodizes of extruded section and fixed of 200 mm long size (length of bolt) ISI marked, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Plain fillets square, rectangular or triangular in section, 2nd class hardwood of sectional area exc 13 & n exc 25 sqcm, clean sawn, wrought finished secured with screws in and including dismantling of old plain fillets ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Continuous (Piano) hinges, width of flaps (when open ) 30mm, stainless steel bright finish or electro galvanised, ISI Marked ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Hasp & staple of 100mm size ,safety type aluminium anodized with mild steel hinge pin including bolt to hinge plate and fixed with screws ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

M S work as Framed works such as grills, gratings etc with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes,framed guard bars barred iron doors ladders, framed balusters walk ways railing, framed work of water tanks, framed and hung as gates including pintle hinges, stops, hand made sliding sliding bolts etc ,drilling bolting or reveting etc and similar work conforming Fe-290 Gde E-165 in and including dismantling of existing old unservicable grill ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description , not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamells paint over one coat of red oxide primer,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Cutting chases, pinning in making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar (1:3) to ends or edges of landings, steps, cills, sunshades, shelves, lintels, etc.; and cutting chases for concealed water tubing and making good, cutting not exceeding 10cm girth, and removal of rubbbish outside MOD land,,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Steel water tubing, 15 mm bore medium grade ISI Marked, galvanized with all fittings and fixed complete to walls, ceiling or laid in floors as in concealed or at surface in and including taking up or down existing unservicable tubing and connections, cleaning for re fixing or removal to store, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Servicable steel water tubing retrived from taking down of this item shall be used after proper cleaning and washing of old GI tube under item No.50.00 below. Nothing extra payment will be paid on this account . (ii) Fittings & specials as required shall be provided by the contractor. Contractor's rate shall be deemed to include the cost of fittings provided.

Re-fixing of servicable steel water tubing of 15 mm bore, with all fittings at new or old position, laid in floor along wall or at ceiling in and including taking up or down servicable steel water tubing and connections ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Notes: (i) Servicable steel water tubing retrived from taking down of No.49.00 above and this item shall be used after proper cleaning and washing of old GI tube under this.Nothing extra payment will be paid on this account . (ii) Fittings & specials as required shall be provided by the contractor. Contractor's rate shall be deemed to include the cost of fittings provided.

Steel water tubing, 20 mm bore medium grade ISI Marked , galvanized with all fittings and fixed complete to walls, ceiling or laid in floors in and including taking up or down existing unservicable tubing and connections, cleaning for re fixing or removal to store, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Servicable steel water tubing retrived from taking down of this item shall be used after proper cleaning and washing of old GI tube under item No.52.00 below. Nothing extra payment will be paid on this account . (ii) Fittings & specials as required shall be provided by the contractor. Contractor's rate shall be deemed to include the cost of fittings provided.

Re-fixing of servicable steel water tubing of 20 mm bore, with all fittings at new or old position, laid in floor along wall or at ceiling in and including taking up or down servicable steel water tubing and connections ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Notes: (i) Servicable steel water tubing retrived from taking down of No.51.00 above and this item shall be used after proper cleaning and washing of old GI tube under this.Nothing extra payment will be paid on this account . (ii) Fittings & specials as required shall be provided by the contractor. Contractor's rate shall be deemed to include the cost of fittings provided.

(c) Applying a coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384 :1986 @ 0.40 ltr/sqm (d) Providing with 3 mm thick APP water proofing membrane minimum weighing 3kg/sqm reinforced with non woven polyster fabric matt (wt. not less than 150 gms/sqm) laid on primed surface by using butane torch by torch application with a side lap of 10 cm & 15 cm end lap weinghing not less than 3 kg/sqm duly sealed at over laps & joints with flame (by torch application) all as per manufacturer’s instructions.
