Replacement of damaged window glass panes in different departmental flats at Anushakti Abasan, Hudco, Purbasha including maintenance of aluminium door and window shutters in all three campuses of VECC (i.e. Bidhanagar, Rajarhat and MCF Chakgaria)

NOTE :- i) Bidders must visit the site before submission of tender. ii) Debris generated from this work shall be disposed off by the contractor outside VECC premises & Anushakti Abasan by manual / mechanical transport within Bidhan Nagar Municipality area without any extra cost to the department. Contractor should quote rates accordingly; The work shall be carried out time to time within a period of 24 months, as and when required. iii) Contractor has to be very careful so that no nuisance is created or users are not disturbed during execution of the work .labours engaged should be well behaved/good mannered. iv) The work should be done satisfying all safety aspects and insurance coverage of all workers to be involved in this job, Contractor should quote rates accordingly. v) Quoted rate should be inclusive of all costs, taxes & duties including GST. No extra payment over and above the quoted price will be paid.

Providing and fixing 3mm thick plain sheet glass panes of M/s. MODI GUARD / SAINT GOBAIN or other approved equivalent Indian make at all level and location after thorough cleaning of surface including removing broken existing glass panes and re-fixing the same after replacement of glass etc. by providing glass putty and disposing unserviceable materials at a distance of 150M including providing man power, tools, tackles, new screws rubber channels, scaffolding including insurance coverage of all workers to be engaged in this job etc. as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge as per following sub- items:-

(a) In Ground floor

(b) In 1st floor to 3rd floor

(c ) in 4th to 7th floor

Providing and fixing 4mm/6mm thick plain sheet glass panes of M/s. MODI GUARD/SAINT GOBAIN or other approved equivalent Indian make at all level and location after thorough cleaning of surface including removing broken existing glass panes, and re-fixing the same after replacement of glass etc. with glass putty and disposing unserviceable materials at a distance of 150 M including providing man power, tools, tackles, scaffolding etc. as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge as per following sub-items:-

(a) 4mm thick plain sheet glass

(b) 6mm thick plain glass panes within VECC Office complex.

Providing all manpower, tools tackles, consumables etc for repair of single/double leaf glazed aluminium doors varying from approximately 1.90 Sqm to 5.00 Sqm in area at all level and location, removing carefully from its existing position, checking all joints, drilling holes on aluminum sections, providing rubber gasket, self tapping steel screws for strengthening joints (if required), re-hanging shutters including providing repair/replacement of cast iron body floor springs, removing damaged parts, cleaning carefully, renewing screws, replacing pivots wherever required, adjusting floor spring for smooth operation etc, complete including scaffolding etc. as required and as directed by Engineer- In Charge.

Providing material, labour, tools etc. for repair of existing fully glazed aluminium windows (both Casement & Sliding) shutter having area in between 0.45 Sqm to 0.65 Sqm at all level and location, dismantling window shutter from existing position, removing glass panes carefully, repairing/replacing aluminium handles, (to be provided by contractor) providing rivets for fixing handles securely with aluminium frame of shutter, providing and fixing flat rubber to window frame and suitable rubber gasket alround to glazing clip with adhesive, fixing new PVC cleat, cleaning entire framework, refixing glass and re-hanging shutter including replacement of damaged hinges / rollers (to be provided by contractor) for smooth operation of window etc. complete including scaffolding etc. as required and as directed by Engineer- In Charge.

Supplying and fixing 12mm thick prelaminated (both side), exterior grade particle board of desired shade/ colour of M/s Novopan or approved equivalent Indian make conforming to IS 12823 grade I, type II and IS marked, cutting to size, fixing to aluminium wall span, door shutter in best workmanship, including scaffolding if required etc. all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing in position hydraulic double action Stainless steel floor spring with 90̊ hold open (max door weight-120kg) for doors with a set of double pivots with outer case as per relevant IS and make M/s HAFELE, M/s DORMA or other equivalent Indian make including cutting pockets in concrete floors, making good the surface to original finish etc complete all as directed by the EIC.
