Material and labour for Descaling of condenser unit by rubbing with nylon brush/ cleaning rod using hydrochloric acid pumped through electric driver descaling pump including dismantling and connecting all dismantled components in proper position after servicing/ overhauling/ greasing etc replacement of packing gasket 3mm thick, nuts, bolts with washer, testing of water line for leakage & repairing of pipe line to make it leak proof complete, all as specified and directedEngr-in-Chagre for the following AC plants :- Notes : (i) The de-scaling & cleaning of condenser (Heat Exchanger) of cooling tower shall be done by circulating concentrated de-scaling solution mixed with water of make as approved to the entire satisfaction of GE/Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified in Sch ‘A’. (ii)The hydrochloric acid shall be used as a de-scaling solution mixed with water in a suitable proportion as approved by the GE/Engineer-in-Charge so as avoid damage to existing pipe lines.

Openning and cheacking of 1070 ac plant at chiller Unit of chiller cutting welding with insulation and presure testing of copper tube fixing of new copper tube size 5/8" x3 meter long with expending and pressure testing 350 PSI stand 24 hours complete testing,all as specified and directed.

Dismantling the head from compressor fitted in system, and strip opening of compressor head of twin cylinder for Model AC 1070 : of Kirloskar make SMC 8-65 model of ACCEL compressor completely for servicing /overhauling mechanically and electrically, and checking of various components with precision instruments to assess the requirements of repair/replacement, and making inventories for repairs required and re-fixing the serviceable parts in position after proper cleaning, oiling/greasing,etc ,and removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts, as required at site, and reassembling the compressors head ensuring perfectly leak proof after cleaning the oil sump, oil pump connecting rod, piston, liner etc and filling of compressor oil, before charging of refrigerant gas to required pressure and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction complete all as specified and directed for following :- ( included notes mentioned in here in after) Notes: - (i) The replacement of defective / nonfunctional parts, and Refrigerant gas and compressor oil for top up shall be measured & paid for separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing/filling rate for new items are deemed to include under these items. (ii) The refregrent gas to be pumped down before dismantlling the compressure head for avoid the wastage of gas. (iii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include replacement of small/ minor parts for prroper functioning of compressure .

M&L for cutting and grinding the crank-shaft (for 1070 : of Kirloskar make/SMC 8-65 model of ACCEL compressor) of 0.50/0.75 mm around as required to make it equivalent to manufacturer’s standard size and smoothening/ fine finishing,polishing of shaft to match with half section big end bearings, cleaning oil ports for proper lubrication complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) The cost of taking out and re-fixing of the shaft / rod in position after necessary repairs is deemed to be included under the rates quoted by the contractor for respective Schedule `A' item. (ii) The rates for above items are deemed to include transportation to & fro of crank-shaft to workshop for necessary repairs.

Carrying out leak detection in the system of AC plants including nitrogen pressure testing for 24 hours and repairing the leakage by gas welding / electric welding of refrigerant pipes, replacement of valve gland, gaskets etc. and then creating vacuum for 4 hours before charging refrigerant gas R-22 in the system and testing the complete plant for working pressure for 24 hours complete, all as specified and directed.
