OUTSOURCING OF SERVICES FOR ELECTRIC SUPPLY INSTALLATION AT AMARIBARI (DG SET OPERATION) UNDER GE (N) TEZPUR

Note 1: (Applicable for all parts/items) : The bidders/contractors are advised to read tender document, all drawings & all corrigendum/amendments and general condition of contracts before entry/quoting the rates. Note 2:- Attention to bidder is hereby invited to upload revised BOQ if published during their bid submission. Uploading of incorrect/ pre-revised BOQ shall be treated as non bonafide and rejected. Fixed credit has been given in technical documents which shall be taken into account during acceptance of bid/tender.

Manning and operation of DG set/electric installation at 19 WEU round the clock for 24 hours in three shifts per day (each shift of 08 hours) including Sunday/Holidays by deputing one skilled DG set operator in each shift for providing standby electric supply as and when power failure is there including maintaining the record of Hrs running,total load,and consumption of fuel/lubricants etc properly in log sheets complete all as specified and directed.

NOTE:- (a) Contractor shall employ one skilled operator for three shifts per day (each shift of 08 hours) and shift timing shall be as under:- (i) Ist shift- 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs (ii) IInd shift- 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs (iii) IIIrd shift- 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs (b) Contractor shall ensure suitable reliever and no extra cost shall be paid for the same. (c) Operator shall have sound knowledge of handling of electrical equipments such as panels,DG set, change over swiches,switch breakers, batteries etc installed in installation. (d) Contractor shall ensure that one operator always be present in each shift. In case of absence of any operator penalty Rs 500/- per hour shall be imposed on contracter. (e) Contractor shall ensure that installations are in proper working/functioning and presentable condition. If any item required for proper functioning of installation, the contractor shall inform concern JE/AGE E/M immediately via telephone or in writting. (f) Contractor shall be resposible to communicate the concern JE/AGE E/M regarding any type of breakdown/fault within 10 minutes of incident for smooth functioning of services. (g) Contractor shall be resposible for maintaining the complete surrounding area of installations (i.e. Inside boundary wall) such as upkeep of building,lawn/garden,hard standing/footpath,cutting of vegetation, rermoval of creepers paracites from fencing/building/structure including OH reservoir so as not to allow any growth more than 2'' from GL and no growth on building/structure, cleaning of cable ducts including necessary T&P all as specified and shall be deemed included in unit rate quoted by the contractor.

NOTE:- (h) Provision of printed log sheets and filling up of all records in respect of DG set/connected electrical load,consumption of fuel,time of mains failure/restored etc should be maintained by the contractor as per direction of Engr-in-Charge. Cost for the same shall be deemed included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. (j) Requirement of FOL will be given by the contractor well in advance to Engr-in-charge/JE E/M and filling of FOL in the tank of DG set will be carried out by the contractor and no extra cost shall be paid for the same and cost for the same shall be deemed included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. The FOL shall be provided by the department through DEL. (k) The operating staff has to check daily functionality of all Plant/Machinaries/panel boards/switch breakers etc. and carry out normal maintenance to prevent any untoward incidenece. Any major problem noticed shall be immediately report to concern JE (E/M)/Engr-in-Charge. (l) Contractor shall responsible for proper uniform of operating staff duly printed the firm's name on it, gum boots,first aid box,hand gloves etc including necessary T&P required for daily functionality of all switch breakers/panels of DG set and cost shall be deemed included in unit rate quoted by the contractor. (m) Contractor shall responsible for signing the log sheets every day at installation and also shall provide all necessary tools required to rectify the minor faults in DG set/DG set panel,switch breakers and change over switches. (n) Contractor shall provide normal spares such as insulation tap,battery terminals,distil water for battery,male/female contact of change over switch,aluminium/copper lugs with nut bolts & washers,petrolium jelly for battery terminals,cotton waste for cleaning of equipments/panel boards at his own cost and the rates deemed to be included in quoted rates.
