[B&R PORTION] Dismantling of Brick tiles or terracing tiles, single layer on roofs complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of Mud in roofs, any thickness, including plastering and leeping (whether full thickness removed or only a part thereof complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, (using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates) as in padding to roof to maintain the required slope and finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Matrerial and labour for 20mm thick grit plastering in 1:3 ( 1 portion cement and 3 portion 0 to 5 mm aggregate) over the roof surfaces with water proofing compound ( as per manufacturers instruction) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: - WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only liquid water proofing complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for plain, cement concrete type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in, levelling course, roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for providing and laying 3mm th. APP (atactic polyproylene polymer) modified prefabricated five layer weight not less than 3.60 kg/sqm water proofing membrane black finish reinforced with non woven polyster matt and applying on top of it one coat of hot straight run bitumen grade 30/40 (Grade S-35) conforming to IS-73 at the rate of 1.2 kg/sqm, make as approved consisting of a coat bituminous primer @ 0.40 ltr/sqm by the same membrane manufactures of dencity 0.87 ro 0.89 kg/ltr at 25'C temprature and viscosity 70-160 cps over the primer coat with overlap of 100mm at the side and 150mm at the end , the layer membrane shall be laid using butane gas torch and sealing all joints etc after preparing the surface complete all as per standered parctice and as per manufacture's instructions The vital plysical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be under:- (i) Joint strenth in longitudinal and transverse ditection at 23'c at 650/450 N/Scms (ii) Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 300/250N/5 cms. Softing point of membrane nor less then 150'c when tested in according with ASTM (d-5147) (iii) The laying if membrane shall be got down through the authriosed applicator or manufactures of membrane only including dismantling old APP membrane complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for a coat of heat resisting paint to Surfaces of any description wood, steel, iron, concrete, brick, stone, APP surface, etc., exceeding 10cm in width or girth including preparation of APP surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down chowkaths or frames not exc 1.5 sqm (without takingoff shutter from the frame) each and removing from the site including dismantling brick work for hold fasts etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
