Drilling of boreholes having 150mm dia through all type of soil including rock or rock like straturm (N>100) upto 10 mtr from ground level at location shown at site including collection of disturbed and un -disturbed sample at every 0.30 mtr or change of cohesive soil only for conducting standard penetration test as per IS - 2131 - 1985 and IS 2132 - 1985 at every 1.5 mtr interval alternative thereafter or on change of strata & indentity SPT values, strata, maximum flood levels and ground water level, finding angle of friction for cohesive soil collected in drained and undrained conditions and triaxial tests on specimens at various depth from ground level conducting following lab test as per existing IS on collected soil sample from bore hole (Total 10 Nos bore holes of 150 mm dia & 10 mtr depth each) (i) Standard practice for Dry Preparation of soil samples for particle size Anaaysis as per IS 2720 (part-I) 1963. (ii) Liquid limit, plastic limit and plasticity index of soil as per IS 2720 (part V) 1975. (iii) Moisture Dentsity relation of Soils as per IS 2720 (Part II) 1973. (iv) Specific gravity. (v) Bulk and dry density. (vi) Free swell index and swelling pr of soils as per IS 2720-SL and 2720-IXL. (vii) Determination of permeability of soil as per IS-2720 (part-36) 1987 and IS-2720) (Part 13) (Viii) Determination of organic material in soils by wet combustion as per IS 2720 (Part XXII) 1972 (ix) Soil classification. (x) Chemical analysis for soil and ground water that is PH value, chlorine and suphate content. (xi) Atterberg Limits. (xii) Natural moisture content. (xiii) Consolidation Test (Compressed index value). (xiv) Harmful soil (complete inbestigation as per reffered). Note:- Unit rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be included the following: (a) Cost of mobilization and shifting of necessary equipment and man power from one site to another site including erection and desmantling of boring equipment and re-filling the bore holes after completion of work. (b) Completion of FD work and lab test result and submission of report in triplicate including recommendations for type of foundation, safe bearing capicity, whether effect of high water lable have been considered in working out SBC. (c) All pages of the soil investigation report should have the name of the job and shall soil investigation is being carried out . (d) Photographic record of Geo-explorations as well as tesing shall also be attached as pert of the report. (e) Specification of IS-6403, IS 1498 will also be considered. (f) A detailed site plan showing be attached and locaiton of each bore duly numbered as log of boreholes.
