PROVN OF WORK SERVICES FOR INSTALLATION OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENTS / MACHINERIES AT AF STN JAMNAGAR

Amount

(i) The cost of any liability for all and any damages caused to the premise/property during performance of work is to be borne by the Contractor.

(ii) Contractor shall provide storage and protection of the equipment provided by ESCO and local Govt/Authority against damage or loss between time of delivery and installation.

(iii) It is the contractor's responsibility to remove and dispose of any excess concrete, soil, forms or other debris from the installation site at the complettion of the installation.

(iv) It is the contractor's responsibility to consult with airfield authorities as to the availability of borrow and dump sites on property.

Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft/loose soil.

Excavating over areas, n.exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in hard / dense soil.

Excavating over areas, exc 1.5 m but n. exc 3m deep and getting out in hard / dense soil.

Excavating over areas, exc 1.5 m but n. exc 3m deep and getting out in Soft/Disintegrated rock.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm. in soil.

Removing excavated material (soils) exc. 50m but n exc. 200m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point.

Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter for fair finished surfaces.

M&L for Cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded aggregate in foundations, filling and mass concrete .

M&L for Moorum/Red bajri, any thickness, laid in layer n.exc. 75mm each, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete. ( Note - Measurements & payment shall be of consolidated thickness without any deduction for voids. Moorum / bajri shall be brought from outside MD land and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted rates).

M&L for laying and compacting 150mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) grading as per Grade I as specifed Table 400-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag, or combination thereof as per the grading required. The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and levelling on the sub grade by using motor grader of adaquate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static wieght for acheiving required compaction density of at least 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifictaions for Road and Bridge works, 2013.

M&L for laying and compacting 150mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) laid in two layers of 75mm each, grading as per Table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static wieght and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. The finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifictaions for Road and Bridge works, 2013.

M&L for 10mm thick sand cushion with clean river sand duly clear of residual, organic and deleterious materials spread evenly to uniform thickness laid over DLC/WMM layer as specified and directed. (No additional amount to be paid for overlap).

Supply and laying 400 micron thick HDPE sheet (Virgin Quality) water proof, wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390 gm/Sqm over tack coat/sand cushion as specified in the design with overlap between adjacent strips and at transverse joints as minimum 300mm. (No additional amount to be paid for overlap).

M&L for Pavement quality concrete (PQC) of minimum 28 days field Flexural strength of 45Kg/Sqcm or 4.5 Mpa, aggregate as per Table 3 of IRC 15-2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard strong, dense, non-porous and durable pieces of crushed stone or gravel, fine aggregate of clean natural sand or crushed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 360Kg/Cum of cement with non-circular, virgin synthetic fibre of 12-18 mm length, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable, alkali resistant with equivalent dia 15-40 micron, minimum melting temperature as 240 degrre celcius and minimum tensile strength of 300 Mpa and at the rate as specified by manufacturer. PQC laid, spread and compacted with slip form paver of minimum 7.50 m width, including curing and tining by texturing cum curing Machine complete all as specified and directed. Required surface texturing to be done as specified in Clause 10.1.14 and Table 9 of IRC : 15-2014.

Notes:-(i) Formwork (if any) required shall deemed to be included in quoted rates. (ii) Testing of flexural strength shall be carried out as specified and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted rates. (iii) The contents of cement specified is the minimum content and in case the quantity of cement required more as per the approved design mix, nothing extra shall be paid for increased content of cement. (iv) The cost of the design mix shall be borne by the contractor.

M&L for forming 25mm width Expansion joints in concrete slab for full depth of PQC. Early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vaccum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. The joint then filled with pre-molded 25mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified, thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30mm dia, .....

.........over filler board and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accomodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having 10 year performance guarantee, applying masking tape on edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the emthod specified by the manufacturere complete all as specified and direcetd.

M&L for cutting of Construction joint 25mm deep and 10mm wide early entry saw cut by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vaccum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 12mm dia, application of bond breaker tape on top of back up rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accomodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having 10 year performance guarantee, applying masking tape on edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the emthod specified by the manufacturere complete all as specified and direcetd.

M&L forming dummy/contraction joint with an initial saw cut of 3mm soon after the concrete has set, upto a depth of 1/3rd to 1/4th the thickness of slab, widening the first saw cut to 6mm and 24mm deep by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vaccum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell, medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 8mm dia, application of bond braker tape on top of backup rod for complete width of joint .....

……..and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accomodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having 10 year performance guarantee, applying masking tape on edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturere complete all as specified and direcetd.

M&L for design mix M-30 using 20mm graded aggregate as in Foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete complete.

M&L for Mild steel CRS TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete.

M&L for Mild steel CRS TMT bars 5mm to less than 10mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete.

M&L for Loose filling with aggregates of gauge 80 to 150 mm of brocken bricks in soakage pits, soakage wells complete.

S&F Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) 50mm long, 11-15mm dia with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, exc 5cm but n. exc 10cm long complete.

S&F Hard drawn steel wire fabric of weight exc 4Kg per Sqm, cut to lengths, bent to shape required and tying with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm in dia in reinforcemnt complete.

S&F 450mm bore reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, laid and jointed complete with collars complete all as specified & directed.

Supplying and laying of CPVC Schedule 40 pipes & Plain Schedule 80 fittings in trenches complete all as specified.standard wall PVC pipe (SCH-40) 250mm (Internal dia) nominal size, for installation of fair LED tube complete fittings, in trenches with coupling all as specified & directed. (Note - The pipes shall be jointed with oatey cement over primer after cleaning with cleaner. Supply only of Oatey cement, cleaner and primer shall be measured and paid for separately. Cost of labour for jointing, priming, cleaning, etc., is deemed to be included under this item).

S&F mild steel sqaure plate 25.4mm thick and 152.4x152.4mm size including drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; poviding flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete.

Material & Labour for applying Two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces.

M&L for preparation and applying Two or more coats of non skid epoxy paint on concrete surfaces complete all as directed.

M&L for preparation of old/ previously painted concrete/ bituminous painted/surfaces and applying adequate no of coats of water based road marking paint of white/yellow or orange shades as approved exc 10cm width or girth with rewriting letters, figures, symbols, lines etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of horizontal and vertical surface by providing & applying cold-applied, one-component waterborne liquid applied waterproofing membrane based on modified polyurethane technology and fully fibre reiforced. All cracks upto 3mm at corner joints shall be treated with crack seal by applying three coats over & including one coat of primer of urethane having coverage @ 0.75Kg per Sqm and dilution upto 10% and laying reinforced fibre net and applying two coats @ total consumption 2Kg per Sqm (in two coats) for maintaining minimum dry film thickness of 1.5mm complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as specified & directed. Make: Sikalastic-560 of Sika India Pvt Ltd or Smart care damp proof ultra of Asian Paints Ltd or ShaliUrethane BTD of STP Ltd or equivalent specified in tender documents and as approved.

Note: A Security deposit (in form of retention money or FDR) against Guarantee of Water proofing work for the period of ten years from the certified date of completion shall be submitted by contractor. Security deposit shall be calculated as per the scales laid down for calculating Earnest Money Deposit enhanced by 25% on the total amount of Water proofing treatment works.

Supply only Oatey 31012 PVC regular cement, clear, in 118ml containers. Make / brand can be other equivalent if approved / ordered by the Garriason Engineer.

Supply only Oatey clear PVC cleaner, for use with PVC pipe and fittings in 32 fl. Oz. (or less capacity) containers. Make / brand can be other equivalent if approved / ordered by the Garriason Engineer.

Supply only Oatey clear primer for para CPVC, PVC, Imprimador, transparante, in 8 fl. Oz. containers. Make / brand can be other equivalent if approved / ordered by the Garriason Engineer.

Fixing / imbedding in concrete / fastening only of Mild steel bolts, purpose made. with hexagonal or square head one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends; each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut. Exc 30cm long & dia 20mm n.exc 25mm complete.

M&L for Grouting 25 mm thick under stanchion bases or grillages, etc. including any temporary shuttering to edges with cement mortar 1:2.

Fixing/Installation of AAG equipment/machinery at each required location which includes all necessary fittings/equipments such as cranes (08 to 10T capacity)/Equipment (including operator and labour) for placement, Tape installation, Tape tracking and including testing and commisioning of AAGs complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge. (Note :- All necessary fittings/items for installation of AAGs equipment are deemed to be included in quoted rates as 16 Nos steel shim (1 inch th, 6 inch sqaure), 01 No 1 1/8 inch drive socket, 01 No ground rod 0.625 inch dia x 10ft long, Wire, bare copper, No 4, 02 Nos ground clamp, direct burial, 01 No ground lug, Screw, cap, Hex HD., (0.25-20UNC x 0.75 LG), 01 No Washer, lock (0.250 nominal), 01 No Washer, flat (0.281 I.D. x 0.625 O.D. x 0.065 th), etc for 01 system installation complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for clean, free draining gravel or gravelly sand in layers 150mm each spread thickness in backfill, compact as required complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge. ( Note - net compacted quantity without any deduction for voids shall be measured and paid for under this item).

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) in soft/loose soil each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete.

M&L Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks type C-1, 1:3:6 (using 20mm graded aggregate) , exc. 10 cm in width and setting in mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L rendering 15mm thick on brick wall or concrete surface in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified.

M&L for plain cement concrete type B0 1:2:4 (12.5 mm graded aggregate) as in lintels upto 1.5 m clear span and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses,parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered anglesand throating, as directed, complete all as specified and directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drains or channels 30cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms, moulds, mitred / stopped ends etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Add or deduct for each 25 mm girth or part thereof over 30cm ditto complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting, unfastening, taking out / dismantling of existing Runway elevated light fitting, following type, including disconnecting electrical wiring from isolation transformer, etc., complete; transporting of light fittings and connected items from runway site to Air force station store yard and depositing the same to Airforce authorities; removal of fasteneres, bolts, etc. from runway by core cutting, etc. ; filling the core with cement concrete 1:1.5:3 and finishing surrounding runway surface all as directed

Fixing only Runway Edge High Intensity BI-directional insel light CY with (2x105W) halogen lamp including making connection with secondary lead etc as reqd. Note:- (i) Runway Edge light will be provided by CCR section Air Force authorities. (ii) Fixing of Runway Edge light will be done under the guidance of concerned rep of CCR section Air Force authorities.

Material and labour for provision of earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m deep below normal ground connected to Copper strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of copper, watering pipe of 20 mm bore galvanised iron medium grade and 40 mm bore galvanised iron light grade for earth strip protection including all excavation, earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 and RCC 1:2:4, type B1 for precast chamber cover 50 mm thick, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM Jali (weight not less than 4.00 Kg / sqm), with charcoal, salt, funnel complete all as shown in the electrical plate No 3 of SSR part –I and testing on completion. Note : (i)Earth result after installation completely should be less than 5 Ohm .(ii)Quoted rates shall be deemed to include for earth strip with protection pipe of 7.5 M length.

M & L for core ( not less than 100mm dia and 200mm deep) cutting in existing rigid Runway pavement, fixing of bolts and fasteners, fastening & fixing of Rumway Edge High Intensity Bi-directional inset light fittings, filling the core with cement concrete 1:1.5:3, complete including all accesssories and as directed. ( Note :- Quoted rates includes all as specified above and as directed except for the light fittings that will be supplied, free of cost, by the Air force authorities at their store yard)

Removing excavated soil to distance n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point all as directed.

Supply and fixing 600 mm dia HDPE pipe to serve as conduit for primary cables puling complete

Supply and fixing solid copper rod of size not less than 5/8" (16mm) in diameter and 10'-0"( 3050mm) long, grounded, driven for full length in to the earth. The maximum reasistance of the ground shall not exceed 2.5 Ohms under normal dry conditions. Resistance test shall not be made immediately after a rain.

Supply and fixing AWG 4 solid bare copper conductor for connection between the ground rod and the foundation rebar with necessary ground clips and fittings as specified and directed
