Description of works

Providing and fixing structural glazing using powder coated aluminium extruded architectural sections of size 71.2x28x2.8mm(1.136kg/m) to form grids of size maximum of 600x750mm and fixing 5mm thick approved reflective type glass(Saint gobain or equivalent). Securely fixing the basic frame work on to the masonry/RCC/MS structure or any part of the building with adequate and properly designed anchor fastners, fischer/hilty make nuts and bolts etc including providing himax windows in required intervals (minimum 1 number per 3m). complete. as per the drawings/directions of engineer in charge and specificaitons

Providing, fixing and fabricating powder coated aluminium extruded tubular and other aluminium sections (Hindalco) of required colour and shade as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge for fabricating basic frame work for partially or fully panelled/glazed/louvered partitions including cleats, sleeves, stainless steel screws, washers, nuts, bolts etc. necessary for fabrication of extruded aluminium frame work as per the architectural drawings and directions of engineer in charge. The extruded prefabricated frame work shall be fixed to the wall/ floor/ beam with M.S brackets and screws. (Measured length of powder coated aluminium extruded sections converted to weight shall be considered for payment.)

Providing and fixing Aluminium composite panels (Alstrond/Eurobond/Alucobond or equivalent) of approved make and colour made out of 4mm thick aluminium composite panel material consisting of 3mm thick FR grade mineral core sandwiched between two aluminium sheets (each 0.5mm thick) for partitions. The aluminium composite panel cladding sheet shall be coil coated, with Kynar 500 based PVDF / Lumiflon based fluoropolymer resin coating of approved colour and shade on face # 1 and polymer (Service) coating on face # 2 as specified using stainless steel screws, nuts, bolts, washers, cleats, weather silicone sealant, EPDM/neoprene gasket, backer rods etc. (The cost aluminium extruded frame work shall be paid seperately under the specified item.)

Providing and fixing removable/hinged SS304 fly proof mesh/screen made of powder coated aluminium extruded sections of size 28x13mm(min 0.220kg/m) or equivallant for fly screen shutter frames fixed to basic frame work. The fly proof stainless steel 304 grade wire gauge with average width of aperture 1.4mm in both directions and wire of diameter 0.5mm shall be fixed to the shutter frame using EPDM/Neoprene gasket including screws, hinges, fastners, nuts, bolts etc. complete.

Providing and fixing 8mm thick Thomson multiwood panels(regular) of approved colour and shade using stainless steel screws, nuts, bolts, washers, cleats, weather silicone sealant, EPDM/neoprene gasket, backer rods etc. The panel shall be cut in to match the grid size in required lenth and width as per the drawing or direction of engineer in charge. (The cost aluminium extruded frame work shall be paid seperately under the specified item.)

Providing and fixing casement window/side openable windows made of powder coated aluminium extruded architectural hollow sections (Hindalco) of 46x44mm size frames, sash, mullions(where ever required) all having wall thickness of 1.5 ± 0.1 mm and glazing with 6mm thick approved glass including necessory glazing bead of appropriate dimension, handle, lock, EPDM gasket, screws, stainless steel friction hinges, fasteners etc. as per enclosed technical specifications and drawings. The gap (if any) in between aluminium frame and adjacent rcc/brick/stone work shall be sealed by weather silicon sealant over backer rod of approved quality.

Design, supply & installation of Glazing system designed to withstand the wind pressure with glass panel having 12 mm thick clear toughened glass (Saint gobain or equivalent) held together with SS- 316 Grade Stainless steel patches or aluminium fixtures, all complete to perform as per specification and approved drawings. The complete system to be designed to accommodate thermal expansion & seismic movements etc. The joints between glass panels (6 to 8 mm) and gaps at the perimeter & in U channel of the assembly to be filled with non staining weather sealant(saint gobain), so as to make the entire system fully water proof & dust proof. The rate shall include all design, Engineering and shop drawing , labour, T&P, scaffolding, other incidental charges including wastage, enabling temporary services all fitting fixers nut bolts, washer, Buffer plates, fastener, anchors, SS channel laminated glass etc. all complete. For the purpose of payment, actual elevation area of Glazing including thickness of joints and the portion of Glass panel inside the SS channel shall be measured.

Providing and fixing fully glazed door with 12mm thick toughened glass(Saint Gobain or equivalent) partially fixed and partially openable as per the drawing and specifications including providing and fixing top & bottom pivot & spring type fixing arrangement, required door fittings such as SS door handle, stopper, locking system etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing aluminium extruded section body tubular type universal hydraulic door closer (having brand logo with IS : 3564, embossed on the body, door weight upto 36 kg to 80 kg and door width from 701 mm to 1000 mm) with double speed adjustment with necessary accessories and screws etc. complete. (basic rate Rs.1250/-) (Dorma/ Godrej or equivalent)

Providing and fixing of ACP cladding/ACP box using aluminium extruded sections of size 25.4x25.4x1.2mm(0.308kg/m) box frame for fixing 3mm thick Wooden / other textured aluminum composite panel (Alstrong/Aluco/euroband/aludecor or equivalent) (0.25mm aluminium coil thickness) of approved make and colour including stainless steel screws, nuts, bolts, washers, cleats, weather silicone sealant etc. The ACP shall be securaly fixing in the basic frame work to the properly designed structurals with adequate anchor fastners. Fischer/Hilti make nuts and bolts, screws, etc. as per technical specifications and drawings.

Providing and fixing aluminium composite panel border 100mm to 150mm size made of 3mm thick FR grade aluminum composite panel (0.25mm aluminium coil thickness) of approved make and colour fixed to the basic frame work using suitable aluminium extruded sections with stainless steel screws, cleats, sealant etc. complete.

Providing and fixing MS structural steel (Tata/Jindal) support/cross members/frames for fixing structural glazing /partition/ceiling etc including welding, bolting with all necessory nuts, bolts, anchor fastners. Charges including painting with two coat of anticorrossive Yellow zinc chromate primer and 2 coat of synthetic enamel paint (Asian/MRF) etc. complete as per the directions of engineer in charge.

Dismantling MS/GI/GP structural steel (Tata) support/cross members/frames and re-fabricatingincluding welding, bolting with all necessory nuts, bolts, anchor fastners. Charges including painting with two coat of anticorrossive Epoxy primer and 2 coat of epoxy paint etc. complete as per the directions of engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing GI structural steel support/cross members/frames for fixing structural glazing /partition/ceiling etc including welding, bolting with all necessory nuts, bolts, anchor fastners. Charges including painting with two coat of anticorrossive Epoxy primer and 2 coat of synthetic enamel paint etc. complete as per the directions of engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 304) (Jindal or equivalent) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in-charge.( for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.)

Providing and fixing froasted film/etching to the glasses as per the design or direction of engineer in charge.

Filling the gap in between aluminium frame & adjacent RCC/ Brick/ Stone work by providing and laying weather silicon sealant (Dow corning) over backer rod of approved quality as per architectural drawings and direction of Engineer-in-charge complete.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level:1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Finishing walls with textured exterior paint of required shade:New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.28 ltr/ 10 sqm ) over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/ 10 sqm (Asian paints )

Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade:New work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/ 10 sqm) (Asian paints apex ultima)

Taking out existing CC interlocking paver blocks from footpath/ central verge, including removal of rubbish etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground,and relaying the same with 6mm agrregates for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material within 50 metre lead as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made cement concrete paver block of approved shape and colour of M -35 grade made of C&D waste by block making machine with vibratory compaction laid in required pattern and including over 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge..

Providing and fixing Roofing Shingles of 3 feet x1 feet sized sheets, in a thickness of 5.4 mm. They are composites of reinforced fiberglass mesh and mineral stabilized, high grade asphalt, which has been overlaid with high strength ceramic coated granules. (saint gobain or equivalent) (Product Description- Fiberglass reinforced, high grade, Mineral- stabilized asphalt based mats which are overlaid with high strength ceramic coated granules and underlayed with a mineral stabilizer cum fire-retardant) (CONSTRUCTION- Double laminates fiberglass composition: UL Class A, EXPOSURE – 145 mm, WARRANTY – 25 years WIND RESISTANCE – 15 years 100 km/hr. as per ASTM D3161, FIRE RATING – Class A fire rating as per ASTM E108/ UL S107-M87, SPECIAL FEATURE- Self adhesive strip)

Providing and fixing plain Multipurpose Cement board (High Pressure steam cured) as per IS : 14862, with suitable screws for fibre cement board in ceiling, roofing, wall etc. complete (frame work to be paid separately) : 12 mm thick cement board (V board)
