(g) 625 KVA Servicing of the DG set should be followed as per the instructions given under: Checking and rectifyng of (i) Battery charging system , level up Electrolite and specific gravity. (ii) Leakage in fuel lines & connections of fuel pump. (iii) Leakage of Lub. Oil and cooling system, hose pipe & connection, belts tension, fan hub drive pully and water pump and cleaning of water separation and cooling system. (iv) condensate trap. Repair of leakage/ maintenance of water cooling system. Cleaning of radiator by draining out of Coolent, checking of all hose pipes, nut & bolts and tightening properly including checking of leakages all as directed by Engr – in – Charge. (v) Reset the complete switches in automatic lighting connection. (vi) Cleaning of complete D G Set, check and tightening of all nut & bolts including replacement of U/S parts , oiling/ greasing of all movable parts and unusual vibration. (vii) Leakage in exhaust system and exhaust restriction, drain out condensate trap. Repair of leakage/ maintenance of water cooling system. checking of all hose pipes, nut & bolts and tightening properly including checking of leakages all as directed by Engr – in – Charge. (viii) Check all electrical connection of alternator and control wiring (ix) Check all earthing connection of DG Set, repair the same if required (x) Drain out old used engine oil from the DG Set cleaning the sump Properly including opening of “B” check kit.Filling of Engine Oil 20W40 or as recommended by the manufacturer, Qty of Engine Oil is specified sepeartly. (xi) Opening of all filters such as diesel filters, oil filters, Air filter and other required items. proper cleaing of the items and reinstalling or replace the same if required. ( xii) Testing the D G Sets after completion of work. (xiii) Contractor shall employ skilled labour (FGM) for the above repairs. All the complaints arised should be attended and solved on the same day within one hour by one company engineer/ technician for over all repairs. Note:- Replacement of required spare parts will be measured and paid separately

Labour only for attending breakdowns of DG sets/AMF panels through skilled technician from reputed service centre of DG sets with necessary tool kits, checking Engine and alternator for defects, carryout necessary repairs works to rectify the defects without major overhauling/opening of Engine or Alternators, replace of external spare to repair/rectify the defects and testing DG set for its smooth functioning on full load all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : 1. Necessary spares required to rectify the defects shall be measured and paid separately under relavant items. 2. The complaint shall be attended and rectifed within 24 hrs form time of reporting by Engr-in-Charge or his auth representative. 3. Any Major defects shall be reported on Priority to Engr-in-charge to avoid undue delay in fuctioning of installation.
