Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in any type of soil for foundation etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidation to required gradient and camber of formation surface (in cutting) of roads with 8 to 12 tonne power roller including filling in depressions which occur during rolling complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavation material n exc. 250m and not exc 500m & deposited where directed at a level n exc. 1.5m above the starting point etc complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking existing damaged water bound macadam in patches (area exceeding 400 Sqm) depth exceeding 50mm & not exceeding 100mm including removal of aggregate not exceeding 50 Mtr and stacking complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150 mm thick (Spread thickness) Soiling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated with power roller exc 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne to a required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM (granite, basalt or trap) in two layers of 75mm consolidated thickness each with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed. The WBM shall satisfy the physical requirements as specified in para 20.A.21.1 to 20.A.21.13, 20.B.2.5.1 to 20.B.2.5.4 & 20.B.2.11 to 20.B.3.10.2 of SSR Pt-I complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing unsurfaced water bound mecadum surface by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirts and applying evenly a priming/tack coat (paving bitumen VG10 grade) @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with paving bitumen ( VG -30) @ 4% by weight of total Mix laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller/tendem vibratory roller to achieve smooth uniform surface complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Compated thickness shall be measured & paid).

M&L for Preparation of newly laid black top/existing black top surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm of road surface and laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed. Note :- for Srl Item No. 08 and 09 - (i) The actual binder content for BM & SDAC used shall be as per optimised content based on approved job mix formula irrespective of what ever indicated in BOQ. (ii) Price adjustment shall be done on MINUS side only @ Rs. 46900/- per MT (without considering the permissible tolerance on minus side) with reference to binder content indicated in BOQ. (iii) No Price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side.

M&L for Thermoplastic road marking paint 2.5mm thick, white or golden yellow in colour, conforming to BS-3262, in lines, arrow, dashes & letters exceeding 2.5mm in width, applied hot, using application unit and retroreflective glass beads @ 250 to 300 gram/Sqm to withstand vehicular traffic load, laid as per manufacture's instructions, the finish surfaces to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes as per MORTH specification complete all as specified and directed. Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in grounds floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cms thickness (below or ground level) of any description and in any position complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Hardcore of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface using broken stones or boulders complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 80mm thick factory made rubberised coloured (laminated) interlocking paver block (using vibro compaction method) (topping thickness not less than 5mm) in white cement and non fadable glossy pigment of approved shade of any shape and size conforming to IS-15658-2006 of M-40 grade laid over & including cleaned dry sand cushion 50mm thick over & including 75 mm thick flooring in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 finished even & fair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-0(using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in coping, in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height,copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, as directed finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for continuous brick edging with width equal to the width of the brick, of whole sub-class 'B' bricks, laid dry on end vertically including all necessary earth work/removal of old damaged brick edging all as specified and directed.
