Excavation for road work in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location within all lifts and lead upto 1000 m.

Earth work in cutting or in embankment in ordinary soil, excavation to be in the regular pits not exceeding 0.5m in depth and earthwork in embankment to be in 20cm. layers, including ramming and dessing the surface to required levels & slopes & also including 1.5 lift & 30m. lead. The earth from cutting to be used in making embankment or to be deposited as spoil banks within 30m. Distance as directed by the enginee incharge including watering, dressing & compacting the soil to achieve 95% proctor density. (Compection only)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam with 1% OPC cement and 3.50 % emulsion specifications including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared under base and compacting with power vibratory-roller to achieve the desired density including lighting, guarding, barricading and maintenance of diversion etc.

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 Kg. Per sqm on the prepared bitumenous surface cleaned with mechanical broom.

Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 60-90 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonne per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 @ 5.4 percent of mix and filler, transorting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydristatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH&H Specifications clause 509 complete in all respects.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulder with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2. (Lead 1 km.) (E/w in Patri) (Data Book Sr. no. - 3.18)
