Roof Treatment

Complete removal of old existing treatment of any thickness from RCC roof by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc as laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster and PCC of any thickness over RCC roof surface if any completely by scrapping/scrubbing/brooming down etc and cleaning the surface all as specified and as directed.

PCC 1:2:4 (type B0) using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as padding concrete to the roof slab of average thickness of 30 mm thick etc complete all as specified and as directed.

10 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:3 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface mixed with water proofing compound and finished the surface even and smooth complete all as specified and as directed.

Provn of water proofing treatment by applying oil bound bituminous primer 0.25 kg/sqm, providing and laying 4mm thk APP modified water proofing membrane weighing not less than 4 kg/sqm, reinforced with non-woven polyster matt weighing not less than 160 gm/sqm, having softening point not less than 1400 C longitidunal tensile strength not less than 650 N/Sqcm tearing strength of 180 N by torque application including minimum 10 cm side overlap and 15 cm end overlap and applying a coat of blown grade hot bitumen 85/25 over the membrane heated to a working temperature of 180 degree centigrade and applied @ 1.2 kg/sqm finishing the surface with solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint @ 100 gm/sqm, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge and as per manufacturer's instructions.
