PROVISION OF CANTILEVER STORAGE WITH FALSE CEILING B/R E/M WORKS AT BUILDING NO 03 BMH IN THE TECHNICAL AREA OF ITM MUSSOORIE UNDER GE(I) RND DEHRADUN

M&L for Excavating in post holes in hard dense soil (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm thickness complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concretecomplete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F Steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to I.S 1161- 1979 grade St.-240 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F for Framed work such as grills, gratings, etc. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe 290 Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F 1.60mm thick Mild steel, plain, black sheet in wall cladding, steel gates and similar work, cut to size, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40 mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc. as required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing of new steel surfaces over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatement by scraping, washing, rubbing down or stopping distempered or painted surfaces etc of walls plastered or un-plastered & removing all vegetation growth, cleaning to the entire satifactory of Engr-in-Charge & applying of Birla/JK white wall putty approx 3 mm thick in two layers as per manufacturer's instructions on existing prepared surface and make the surface smooth by rubbing with sand papers and applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

Providing & fixing false ceiling at all heights with semi perforated 12mm thick micro tegular edged GRG (Glass Fibre Reinforced Gypsum) false ceiling tiles of Size 595 x 595 mm of approved texture, design and patterns having moisture content less than 2%, humidity resistance of 99%, NRCO.50 to 0.75 as per IS8225:1987, Non combustible as per BS476 (part 4)-1970 and light reflectance of 85% (minimum) to be laid in true horizontal level suspended on interlocking metal T-Grid of hot dipped galvanized iron section of 0.33mm thick(galvanized @ 120 grams per sqm including both sides) comprising of main T runners of size 15 x 32 mm of length 3000mm, cross-T of size 15x 32mm of length 1200mm and secondary intermediate cross-T of size 15 x 32 mm of length 600mm to form grid module of size 600x 600mm, suspended from ceiling using galvanized mild steel items(galvanizing @ 80 grams per sqm) i.e 50mm long, 8mm outer diameter M-6 dash fasteners, 6mmq dia fully threaded hanger rod upto 1000mm length and L shape level adjuster of size 85x25x2mm. Galvanised iron perimeter wall angle of size 24x 24x0.40mm of length 3000 mm to be fixed on periphery wall / partition with the help of plastic rawl plugs at 450mm center to center and 40mm long dry wall wood screws. The work shall be carried out as per specifications, drawing and as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc. including brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0kg of cement per sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L coloured/printed Vitrified ceramic tiles 10 mm thick, area of each tile not exc 0.36 sqm, laid in floors etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile laid over and including 15mm thick bedding layer in cement mortar (1:4) including necessary cutting and waste as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
