Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rock, hard rock, chiseling, wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades, cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by engineer-in-charge at site according to the MORD technical specification clause 302, 304 & 1603 and 1603.2 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to required width of the road or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means along with its leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. Recovery of stone to the tune of 97.33 cubic metres quantity at the rate of 300/- per cubic metre shall be effected from the contractor's running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public, private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases complete, including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Excavation in foundation, trenches etcetera. in earth work in all classification of soil such as pick work, jumper work, pick jumper work, blasting work, jumper blasting work, soft and hard blasting and saturated soil, de-watering, including wedging out rocks where blasting work is prohibited, chiseling or any other mixed variety of soil, shoring, strutting or bailing out water (Surface and sub soil water) upto any depth or height any quantum of water including de-watering removal of slush, lift upto any height, stacking the excavated soil clear from the edge of excavation and then retuning the stacked soil in 15cm (Fifteen centimetre)layers, when required into plinths, sides of foundation etcetera; consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering and then disposing of all excavated earth as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, within all leads, lifts and other incidentals as per specifications, approved drawing, design and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Providing and lying weepholes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete and technical specifications clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including carriae of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals as per specifications, approved drawing, design, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
