Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, concrete surface etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc.

Removing old lime wash (if any), hacking for key, raking out joints of old surface and scrubbing down with water etc. to receive plaster

Removal of damaged concrete and surface preparation: Removal of existing affected, distressed, loose cover concrete including loose damaged concrete from all structural members up to beyond the corroded steel reinforcements to a depth of 10 mm minimum behind the reinforcement only at affected concrete (Good & sound concrete should not be chipped / damaged) by chipping / hacking with chisel and hammer or by mechanical means like light weight chisel hammer, etc. for all height as per Technical Specification without causing detrimental effect to any part of the bridge structure and removal and disposal of debris at designated location including all material, labour, tools, plant and machineries, lead & lifts etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge and/or Consultant.

Rust removal & Application of Anti-Corrosive Coating for Steel Bars: Cleaning of rust / scales / corrosion from reinforcement bars should be carried out using rust remover, Reebakleens RR of Fosroc. The material is to be applied to the rusted metal bar, using brush and leaving it to dry for 30 Min. & washing surface with fresh water as required to exposed reinforcement bar & then treat the steel with epoxy based zinc rich anti corrosive primer Nitozinc Primer over the steel rebars. The zinc rich primer shall be applied at 40 microns dry film thickness and shall have salt spray resistance of <5 mg for 96 hours as per ASTM B-117 and adhesive bond strength > 1.5 MPa as per ASTM D4541,etc,complete.at all heights, including all material, labour, tools, plant and machineries complete as per detail technical specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge and/or Consultant.

Low Viscous Epoxy Injection Grouting for Dry Cracks in concrete Make "v" groove along length of crack, remove all dust and loose particles and place NRV packers/injection ports at spacing of 200 to 500mm centre to centre spacing depending on porosity of substrate , seal the cracks with epoxy putty Nitocote VF followed by pressure grouting with low viscous solvent free two component moisture insensitive epoxy resin Conbextra EP10M having density of 1050 kg/m3. The epoxy injecting materials shall have viscosity < 0.6 poise as per ASTM D1200, compressive strength > 80 MPa as per ASTM D 695 and bond strength > 4 MPa as per ASTM C882 , etc., complete. Product used shall have CE (CE-29842) marking and compliance according to Construction Products Directive 89/106/EEC (CPD)

Epoxy Bonding Agent for Old to New concrete - Providing and applying Nitobond EP bonding agent which shall be a solvent free epoxy based two component resin system . The bonding agent shall be applied by brush & should remain in tacky state after application for a minimum period of 5-6 hrs at 20 deg C & 2-3 hrs at 30 deg C. The product shall achieve 50 N/mm2 compressive strength, 20 N/mm2 tensile strength, 35 N/mm2 flexural strength and 10 N/mm2 shear strength as per BS 6319 standards. The adhesive bond to the concrete substrate shall exceed the tensile strength of the host concrete,etc complete. (The new repair mortar/concrete should be applied within overlay time of epoxy bonding agent mentioned as per manufacturer's data sheets)

Shear connectors:- Drilling holes into existing concrete substrate for anchoring of new anchoring rebars with 12/16 mm dia shear connectors at 0.5 m c/c as per drawing and for additional rebar provision in repair area and fixing with epoxy based chemical anchor Lokfix E77 of Fosroc make. Drilling hole diameter: 4 mm larger to rebar dia drilling depth: min 10 times the rebar dia including cleaning, cutting, fabricating, chemical, tools, tackles etc. completed as directed by EIC. 16 mm dia

Polymer modified micro concrete Providing and laying of special repair material micro-concrete for reinstatement of members using Single component, high strength, high flow cementitious micro-concrete having compressive strength minimum of M35 at 28 days such as Renderoc RGL of Fosroc, blended with washed saturated surface-dry (SSD), graded, low absorption, high density, aggregates of size 3mm to 10mm at 50% by weight of micro concrete (if thickness is 100mm or more) and water as per data sheet and pouring into the shuttering if required than use birds peak type form work using suitable arrangement or if required using pumping device for uniform flow of Micro concrete. The side shuttering can be removed after Minimum of 24 hours, preferably 3 days and the bottom shuttering after 7 days ensuring proper bond between the micro concrete and existing concrete substrate at all heights, including all material, labour, tools, plant and machineries, curing etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge and/or consultant. (Only steel reinforcement shall be paid in other relevant items)

Erecting and removing plywood shuttering/ steel plates as per required size, line and levels for jacketing, casting including bracing, props etc. as specified by the consultant all complete. Including chipping off loose and disintegrated concrete, preparing exposed concrete as specified, cleaning the reinforcement with wire brush, chipping hammer and applying KP 100 on concrete near the exposed steel , anticorrosive coating of IPNET RB on old as well as new steel, providing, bond coat of cement slurry,

Providing 15mm thick cement plaster in single coat on Rough (Similar)side of single or half brick walls for interior plastering upto floor two level and finished even and smooth in built in Cement mortar 1:3 (1-cement:3-sand)

Applying two coats of putty & two coats of primer of approved brand and manufacture on new wall surface to give an even shade including thoroughly brushing the surface free from mortar dropping and other foreign matter and sand papered smooth.

FRP Sheets for structural strengthening - (Carbon Fibre Wraps) Providing and applying Nitowrap CWS or equivalent uni directional, high strength carbon fibre sheets of required thickness or GSM. The FRP fabric used shall be of zero degree unidirectional fibres having fibre density of 1.8 g/cc and shall have tensile strength > 4900 MPa ; tensile modulus > 230 GPa and ultimate elongation of 2.1%. The substrate shall be primed with compatible epoxy primer & epoxy impregnating resin saturant shall be used for saturating the fibres. Saturant used shall have tensile strength of >30 MPa; Elongation > 2% ; Flexural strength > 30 MPa ; Tensile Modulus > 2400 MPa & Flexural Modulus > 1700 MPa when tested as per ASTM D638 Type I and ASTM D 790 & Glass Transition Temperature > 100 deg Celsius as per ASTM E 1356. The adhesion of the entire system(FRP Sheet, Saturant and primer combined) with concrete shall be > 3.5 MPa with concrete failure as per ASTM D 4541.Wrapping the CFRP fabric to RCC member at desired orientation using tamping rollers to avoid any air voids etc. and sprinkling sand over it as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, etc., complete Product used shall have CE (CE-29842) marking and compliance according to Construction Products Directive 89/106/EEC (CPD)
