SCHEDULE A PART I (B/R WORKS)

Material and labour for brickwork, with old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth, string, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, water troughs and the like including use and waste of formwork, weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately if reinforced.

Material and labour for mild steel TMT bars of 8mm dia, as in reinforcement, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate), as in sub-base , foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing plain cement concrete 1:2:4, type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates, 100mm thick, as in floor, laid in alternte bay and finishing exposed surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement and making impressions of expanded metal, whilst the concrete is green complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rendering, 15mm thick, on other than fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, in cement mortar 1:4, mixed with WPC @2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note : Supply only WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for rendering, 15mm thick, in cement mortar (1:6) on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surfaces and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of wall or ceiling and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of cement primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkats or frames with shutter, area exceeding 1.50 Square metre and not exceeding 4.00 Square metre (without taking off shutters from frame) and removing from site, including cutting holes in wall/concrete for taking out existing hold fasts and making good the disturbed portion of jambs and adjoining surfaces in CM (1:3) and finishing the surfaces to match with existing finish complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of rolled mild steel in framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering, doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete conforming to Fe 290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of mild steel, plain, black sheet, 1.25mm thick, as in hearths; covering to door shutters; covering to door chowkats (frames); chullah hoods; water tanks; water troughs; ducts; urinal troughs and funnels, etc. cut to size edges beaded if directed, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivels and fixed to wood or steel members, etc., with plain 40 mm lap joints or welded/riveted seams including bending, turning up, mitred angles, stopped ends, outlets, etc. as required complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only cold rolled mild steel, butt hinge, 100mm size, ISI marked, heavy weight complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing surfaces of wood and wood based materials, steel and iron work/new or old, of any description and girth, not otherwise described, of small articles, such as stop, covers, gully gratings, holdfasts, ends of posts, backs of chowkats, etc., area not exceeding 0.1sqm each, and treated with tar or coal tar black paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new steel surfaces, of any description not otherwise described, over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of approved colour synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing of 110mm dia UPVC soil, waste, drain pipe, ISI marked, single socketed, in any length, with rubber rings joints or jointed with solvent cement, fixed to walls with necessary stay clamps complete all as specified and as directed. Note- Rubber rings for pipes and fittings shall conform to IS 5382-1985.

Material and labour for preparation of old decorated brick or concrete plastered or unplastered surfaces of walls, pillers, cornices, etc. by brooming down with steel wire brushing, scrapping, down smoke soot, moulds, moss and effloroscent salts, trading oil and greasy spots etc and applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified and as directed.

SCHEDULE A PART II (MEDICAL GAS PIPELINE SUPPLY SYSTEM) (MGPS System): Refer PS Clauses hereinafter for instructions and responsibility of bidder and for design, supply, handling, installation, testing and commissioning of complete Medical Gas Pipeline Supply (MGPS) system including necessary accessories required in coordination with the GE and Users for this MGPS System work.

(1) OXYGEN SYSTEM (A) 6+6 oxygen cylenders manifold with middle frame (6+6) Cylinder wall mounting type Oxygen gas manifold fabricated with 5/8”X15 SWG Copper pipe as per BSEN 1057 & Brass Blocks equally spaced at 250 mm fitted on duly powder coated MS frame, hydraulically tested at 300 bar with high pressure non return valve & 1.25 mtr. long 5/16”X 16G Copper Tail pipe. Powder coated middle frame with cylinder holding chains for holding cylinders safely. The manifold system should be CE certified. .

(B) Fully automatic control panel Fully Automatic Oxygen Control Panel cover made up of high quality Stainless steel, with built- in led display to indicate high, normal and low line pressure. Capable to supply a distribution flow rate in excess of 2500 LPM. Panel cover fitted with lock to prevent unauthorized access and can be swung open for maintenance. The panel includes pressure gauge (63 mm) that indicates the gas pressure of each header and pipe line distribution pressure. Manufactured by CE certified/ISO 9001-2008 organization.

(C) 2+2 oxygen cylenders emergency sysytem with middle frame (2+2) Cylinder wall mounting type Oxygen Emergency manifold system fabricated with 5/8”X15 SWG Copper pipe as per BSEN 1057 & Brass Blocks equally spaced at 250 mm fitted on duly powder coated MS frame, hydraulically tested at 300 bar with high pressure non return valve & 1.25 mtr.long 5/16”X 16G Copper Tail pipe. (D) Oxygen outlet point with matching probe Oxygen Gas Outlet point conforms to NFPA 99: 2005 HTM 01-02 BS EN ISO 9170-1: 2008 British Standard Outlet with matching probe. The outlet point should be CE certified.

(E) BPC flow meter (0-15 LPM) with Humidifier bottle BPC Flow meter with Humidifier Bottle, Flow meter made up of chrome plated brass body, graduated flow tube, cover and humidifier bottle made of unbreakable polycarbonate. Adjustable flow by needle valve with micrometrical regulation. The Range should be 0-15 lpm. Make-CE certified.

(2) VACCUM SYSYTEM (A) Reciprocating oil lubricated base mounted duplex Vacuum System with 2 numbers 5 HP, 3 phase electric motor (Make: IR). Each Vacuum pump have capacity of minimum 60 cfm and pump should be capable of providing a vacuum of not less than 650mm Hg(87 kPa). A Silencer shall be fitted with each vacuum pump and the exhaust gas shall be discharged outdoors of the plant room.

(B) Vaccum air compressor receiver capacity 750 ltr The Vacuum receiver shall be provided with a manual drain valve. The capacity should not be less than750 ltr. There should be a vacuum dial gauge 0-760mm Hg. A filter shall be fitted between pumps and the receiver which shall be capable of passing the total design flow.

(C) Vaccum oulet point with matching probe Vacuum Outlet point conforms to NFPA 99: 2005 HTM 01-02 BS EN ISO 9170-1: 2008 British Standard Outlet with matching probe. The outlet point should be CE certified.

(D) Ward vaccum unit with 1000ml jar Ward Vacuum Unit is made up of unbreakable polycarbonate material. The capacity of the Jar shall be 1000 ml. A vacuum regulator body is made of aluminum with a On-Off knob and a regulating wheel. A vacuum dial gauge (0-760 mm Hg) shall be fitted on the regulator.

(3) COMPRESSED AIR SYSYTEM (A) Reciprocating, Oil free, Air cooled, Base mounted, Duplex Air Compressor, each having Capacity 36.66 cfm with two 10 HP, 3 Phase Electric motor.

(B) Air compressor receiver capacity 750 ltr Air Receiver Tank shall be fitted with a zero loss electronic drain valve. The assembly shall be fitted with a pressure safety valve capable of passing the compressor at 10% relief valve and include a pressure gauge. The Receiver Tank capacity should be 750 ltr.

(C) Air dryer system 30cfm (Dry spell) The Dryspell Duplex Air Dryer system shall be fully automatic and use activated alumina desiccant. The Air Dryer Maximum operating pressure should be 16 kg/cm2 and air inlet temperature should be 380 C Max. The Pre-Filter Rating of the Air Dryer should be 0.01 micron and the Cycle Time should be 4 minutes.

(D) 3 stage air filteration system and regulator 3 stage Duplex Air Filtration system and capable of isolating each unit for maintenance purpose. Two Stage Air Regulating system should be fitted with air outgoing pipe line for regulate the pressure to 4.2 kg/cm2 for medical air.

(E) Air-4 outlet point with matching probe system Air-4 Outlet point conforms to NFPA 99: 2005 HTM 01-02 BS EN ISO 9170-1: 2008 British Standard Outlet with matching probe. The outlet point should be CE certified.

(5) COPPER PIPE LINE The Copper pipes manufactured from phosphorous de-oxidized, non-arsenical copper of grade CW024A(Cu-DHP), manufactured EN 13348 :2008 to metric outside diameters and having mechanical properties in accordance with HTM 2022/HTM 02-01 and conforming to EN 13348:2008 of following dia:

(i) 42mm Copper pipe with fittings

(ii) 28mm Copper pipe with fittings

(iii) 22mm Copper pipe with fittings

(iv) 15mm Copper pipe with fittings

(6) AREA ALARM SYSTEM & VALVE BOX 3 Gas Microprocessor controlled Visual Digital Alarm for low/high pressure with mute/test facility Make- CE certified.

(7) VALVE BOX 3 gases Area Valve Box with analog pressure gauge and 3 Nos. isolation valve. Make- CE certified. This shall be powder coated MS box and lockable with lock.

(8) OTHER ACCESSORIES (A) H.P. Tube for Oxygen, Air-4 bar should be rubber breaded and CE certified

(B) L.P. Tube for ward vacuum unit should be CE certified.

NOTES:- (a) Defect liability period for the entire subject work including this MGPS system shall be 24 months from the certified date of completion.

(b) The MGPS system installation shall be deemed to have been completed only on satisfactory performance of the MGPS system and acceptance of the satisfactory test results by the representative detailed by the Accepting Officer. In case of any failure during the testing the contractor shall be responsible to carryout necessary rectification/replacement of defective items/system parts thereof as directed by the Garrison Engineer immediately next day at no extra cost to Government. The decision of the GE shall be final and binding in this regard. The installation shall be re-tested after rectification/ replacement of the defective components, the installation/ equipments shall be finally taken over after the contractor has given satisfactory test as certified by the GE.

(c) The entire installation (after satisfactory completion of all tests and taking over) shall be deemed to be guaranteed by the contractor for efficient performance for twenty four months from the certified date of completion of work. In case of any fault arising during this period the contractor shall do the rectification/ replacement of defective parts, as the case may be, on his own expense. The defect liability period referred to in condition 46 of IAFW- 2249 (General condition of contracts) for the purpose of this contract, shall be deemed to be the period covered by the guarantee given by the contractor.

(d) After the system has been completely erected and all necessary tests have been carried out to the satisfaction of Accepting Officer or his authorized representative and the system taken over by the Govt, the contractors representative shall remain available at site for a period of two weeks to instruct the aforesaid personnel deputed by the Govt for training and maintaining the system.

(e) The contractor’s offer shall include the cost of all the above including the training of personnel.

Material and labour for earthing complete with 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick GI plate electrode surrounded by charcoal and salt, buried in ground vertically not less than 2.25mtrs deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5mtrs below ground level connected to GI strip of size 25x4mm as earthing lead with bolts, nuts, checknuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, earth strip protected by galvanized iron pipe 40mm dia (medium grade) from earth pit to test point and connected to main switch or main control board all as shown in Electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified including testing on completion including necessary excavation and earth work (in any strata) providing charcoal dust, salt mixed with fine sand in continuous layers, with CI frame with cover, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 in pit, RCC cover slab 50mm thick in 1:2:4 type B-1 using 8mm dia TMT bars @10cm c/c both way with one 8mm dia bar as handle for lifting, 20mm dia bore light grade GI watering pipe, PGI sheet funnel etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required, 25x4mm galvanised iron strip complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix Cable tray made up of MS angle of 50x50mm and 150mm long embedded in brick wall/concrete using PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded aggregates complete all as specified and directed.

SCHEDULE A PART III (E/M WORKS)

Material and labour for concealed point wiring using approved colour coding as per IS, with multi stranded copper conductor 1.5 sqmm (Nominal area), single core, FRLS-H, 1100 volts, ISI marked, PVC insulated and unsheathed stranded cable drawn through and including non metallic, medium grade PVC concealed conduit not less than 20mm dia and its fittings including all tees, bell mouth pieces and fixing accessories such as couplers, saddlers, pipe hooks etc, PVC junction boxes, ISI marked including mild steel sunken boxes, made out of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, with earth dolly, coated with two coats of anti corrosive paint over a coat of red oxide primer internally, covered with modular decorative cover plate for fixing of switches, socket outlets, fan regulators etc. including 1.5 sqmm single core PVC insulated and unsheathed FRLS-H cable, 1100 volt grade with multi stranded copper conductor green colour as earth continuity conductor upto common earth and connecting to common earth dolly with suitable size of lugs complete for one light/fan point controlled by one switch complete all as specified and as directed.
