Taking out carefully existing aluminum strip of any size including porcelain / PVC insulators and air termination rods from roof/wall of height upto 10mtr and seperating the serviceable/unserviceable material complete all as specified.

Labour only for re-fixing aluminum strip as retrieved from item No 1 in position including provision of new insulators and proper layout on roof/wall at a height upto 10mtr complete all as specified.

S&F in replacement of aluminum strip of size 25x3.15 mm incl saddles / supporting insulators to run over the roof complete all as specified.

Taking out carefully existing GI strip of any size including porcelain / PVC insulators and air termination rods from roof/wall of height upto 10mtr and seperating the serviceable/unserviceable material complete all as specified.

Labour only for re-fixing GI strip as retrieved from item No 4 in position including provision of new insulators and proper layout on roof/wall at a height upto 6 mtr and burried in ground depth not less than 60 cm acomplete all as specified.

S&F in replacement of GI strip of size 32x6 mm incl mounting on including PVC/Porcelain insulators on wall and burried in ground depth not less than 60cm in ground protected by GI pipe 40 mm dia. medium grade complete all as specified. Note: 40 mm GI pipe shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of Schedule.

M&L For air termination single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia 300mm long fixed proper on GI pipe/pcc by drilling,nut,bolt etc complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing in replacement test point terninal block made of gun metal or phasphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8 mm dia 25 mm long hex head screw including test point inclosed in fiber Box of size 125x125x50mm fixed on wall complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing in replacement of GI tubing 40mm dia medium grade in incl necessary fittings for protection of GI strip complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing in replacement of GI tubing 50mm dia medium grade in incl necessary fittings for lowering in borewell of depth upto 30mtr and grouting at roof top in cement concrete to mount the air termination rod complete all as specified. Note: PCC work for grouting on roof shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of Schedule.

M&L for earthing in replacement with galvanized steel earth plate of size 60cmx60cmx6 mm thick electrode and 32x6mm GI strip length up to 7.5 mtr as earth lead, buried directly in ground protected by GI pipe 40 mm dia medium grade (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate should not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level ,connected to 32X6 mm earth strip by means of bolts, nuts, washers of galvanized iron all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of MES SSR Part I connected to earth test terminal point all as specified or as indicated including testing on completion (Rates inclusive of neccessary excavation in any type of soil,earth work,PCC pit,PCC cover,funnel with watering pipe,GI pipe 40 mm dia. medium grade protection pipe for earth strip in ground,wire mesh, common salt, charcoal etc.all as required at site for complete earthing) all as specified. Note :- (i)The earth pit shall be refilled by boulders free from vegetable soil. (ii)Testing of Earthing shall be carried out after completion of earthing and tested by contractor in presence of JE /Engr-in-Charge. Record shall be maintained. Payment shall be admissible only after satisfactory test results.

Material and labour for replacement of unserviceable existing earthing with bore well earthing with the help of mechanical boring machine of 150 mm dia, 30 mtr depth with 50mm dia medium GI pipe duly drilled all around 15 mm dia hole at a distance of 200 mm from hole to hole upto min 20 mtr depth upto water level including supply and fix 150 mm dia (O.D), UPVC pipe 6 kg/sqcm rating -06 mtr long with the help of suitable size clamp with nut bolt and washer -01 No. M&L for providing 32x6 mm GI strip upto 10 mtr protected by GI pipe 40mm dia medium grade in ground and connected to terminal block,grounding of borewell with PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 / Brick masonry pit of size 45x45x45cm complete and give the minimum earth test result below 1 Ohm complete all as specified. Note :- (i) The charge for mechanical boring machine,upvc pipe 150 mm dia length 6 mtr ,GI strip 32x6mm with protection GI pipe 40 mm dia. medium grade & pcc work is deemed to be include in above quoted rate. (ii) GI tubing 50mm dia medium grade shall be measured and paid separately items of schedule. (iii) Earthing shall be tested by contractor in presence of JE/Engr-in-Charge. Record shall be maintained. Payment shall be admissible only after satisfactory test results.

M&L PCC (1:3:6) type C-I using 20mm graded stone aggregate for coping of GI pipe at roof top with form work as required complete all as specified.

Taking out the unserviceable earth identification board and material and labour for providing the earth identification board made out of MS Sheet of size 150x100x6mm and fixed with angle iron 40x40x5mm, 60cm long duly board painted with black enamelled paint as background and write the descreption of earthing No, results with white enamelled paint and the AI grouting 45 cm depth in ground by PCC 1:3:6 of minimum size 20cmx20cm complete all as specified.

Material and labour for marking of earth results /next due date etc on wall by using black enamelled paint as a background and letters will be in white in colour on 40cmx40cm span complete all as specified.
