Annual Maintenance Contract of 14 (forteen) Nos ACER Computer System complete with following machine Nos:- 1. UDVHGS-1200G2378142 2. UDVHGS-1216G2381155 3. UDVHGS-1216G2381138 4. UDVHGS-1216G2381144 TERMS AND CONDITIONS (a) The Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) shall remain operative for the period of one year i.e. from the date of issue of Job Work Order. (b). SCOPE OF WORK. The Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) shall be fully comprehensive onsite maintenance / repair/ replacement of faulty parts of computers as mentioned above at the specified locations within the GE (Maint) Ezhimala Complex. (i) Repair / replacement of all defective parts i.e. Motherboard graphics / sound / Ethernet / Modem / SCCSI / other cards, HDDs, FDDs, CGA/VGA/SVGA, Monitor, Keyboard, mouse, hard disk media house, CD-ROM drive, Multimedia Kit etc. and other associated accessories and other spare parts of the computer. (ii) The contract will include printer head, CD Writer head and CD ROM head etc. as a part of AMC and would have to be replaced, if defective during the period of AMC. The hard disk would have to be replaced, if rendered defective, by the contractor. The old hard disk would not be handed over to the contractor under any circumstances. (iii) Further the firm should have multi user licensed OS Windows 05, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows 2007, 2010, Server 2003, XP Professional, MS Office 97 – 07, Win XP, Office XP Pro, Office 2003. The contractor can bring to the notice of all the cases of failure/damage of computer/peripherals or its part due to improper usage of negligence of the user. However the decision to exclude them from the contract rest with the officer administering the AMC. (iv) The contractor shall address any problems related to Hardware, OS and other general software packages ( Windows 98, 2000, 2007, 2010, server 2000, Server 2003, XP Professional, MS Office 97-07, Win XP, Office XP Pro, Office 2003, Antivirus package, Multimedia, latest version of Auto CAD and other design software, Drivers for Modem, soundcard, display card etc.) and other related accessories of the system. Contractor should possess ‘Multi user license’ for the all aforesaid operating systems and other software packages. (v) The contractor should have direct connections and agreements/tie-up[ with principal companies like Compaq, HP, IBM, Epson, Samsung, Dell, Acer, Samtron, or any other IT Hardware and software company for distributing their products and maintaining them in India. Under no circumstances the down time of any IT peripherals is to exceed one working day. (c) TAX / DUTIES. The price quoted shall include all taxes and duties. Any increase in the taxes / duties during the currency of AMC shall be borne by the POSPL and no claim on the account shall not be entertained.
