Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/ wedging out of rock ( where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required line, grades cutting and trimming of side slopes , camber, super elevation and level shown as per the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge at site according as per M.O.R.D. technical specification section 300 and1600 and sorting out surplus materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transporation including head load or animals transport or by mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and incidential necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and / or labour if required. All useful materials such as stone, shingles, aggregates, sand and slates etcetera shall be sorted out and stacks measured. Recovery of stones to the tune of 746.57 cubic metre quantity at the rate of Rupees 300/- (Rupees three hundred) only per Cubic Metre shall be effected from the bills on pro-rata basis for the quantity actually executed. Any loss to the public / private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site obtained from approved sources / other source or from road way cutting and excavation from drains and foundations of all other structures, transporting to site spreading, grading to required slope and graded up to any height compacted with three Wheel Road Roller 80-100 ( eighty-hundred ) KN static weight road roller to meet the requirement including setting out true to lines, grades, width and side slopes in accordance with drainages pumping or bailing out water (surface/sub soil water) upto any depths or any quantum or water, including spreading the material in the embankment with mortor-grader in layers of 20cm (Twenty centimeters) uniform thickness compacting with vibratory roller 8-10 (eight-ten) tonne static weight to meet the requirement of tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per M.O.R.D. technical specification Clause 301 and 1603.5 including carriage of materials with all leads and lifts and other incidental and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer- In –Charge. Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera and other similar structure in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling /wedging out rocks ( Where blasting is prohibited) complete in accordance with the line and dimensions shown on the drawings as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 300 and 1600 and as per direction of the Engineer- In – Charge including setting out shoring and bracing , removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and upto any lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water ) upto any depth any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arrise out during dewatering as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated plain cement concrete in open foundation for all type of structure complete of plain cement concrete nominal mix 1:4:8 ( One cement : four sand : eight graded crushed/ broken stone aggregate 40mm ( forty millimetre) nominal size on ground or under water including curing complete including pumping or bailing out water , dewatering and removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying concrete in all heights/ depths including the cost of form work in retaining wall, breast wall etcetera as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 800,900 and 1200 as per the direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge Including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidental .
