REPAIR TO INTERNAL ROAD IN DOMESTIC AREA AT AF STATION HALWARA UNDER GE (AF) HALWARA

Material and labour in repair to potholes of depth exceeding 30mm, area not exceeding one sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc by using pressured air, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and by applying a priming/tack coat of bituminous primer (paving bitumen grade VG-10) @ 5kg per 10sqm by using mechanical sprayer and putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder (paving bitumen grade VG-10) @ 9.8kg per 10sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : GE will inform Accepting Officer for convening a Board of Officers at least seven days prior to execution of this item.

Preparing on black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for applying Paving bitumen evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 sq metre complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using Paving bitumen (VG-30), binder content @ 4.0% by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with 8 tonne to 12 tonne power road roller to requried gradient and camber using full width mechanical sensor paver with string sensor (Preparation of surface and priming/tack coat shall be measured & paid separately) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of aggregates and binder and shall be laid in single layer with Mechanical Sensor Paver all as specified and directed. (ii) The design mix shall be carried out from zonal lab/Govt approved lab/Govt Engg College/CTL as approved by GE before incorporation in work. (iii) GE will inform Accepting Officer for convening a Board of Officers at least seven days prior to execution of this item.

Material and labour for laying Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick consolidated thickness with paving bitumen (VG-30), binder content @ 5.5% by weight of total mix, including filler, as per design mix spread using mechanical senser paver rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 ton power roller and compacted required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of aggregates and binder (bitumen) for bituminous carpet. Premixed carpet shall be laid in single layer with Mechanical Sensor Paver all as specified and directed. (ii) The consolidated thickness indicated above shall be the minimum thickness and in case additional materials are required to make good the depressions etc to achieve the required camber & slope etc, the same shall be provided by the contractor and the cost of the same shall be deem to be included in the quoted rates of the above item. (iii) The design mix shall be carried out from zonal lab/Govt approved lab/Govt Engg College/CTL as approved by GE before incorporation in work and testing charges shall also be born by the contractor.

Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like not exc. 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved color confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufactures instruction complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing solar cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x25 mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency mono rystafie solar pannel 2.4 volt /0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2 V) /1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10000 to 18000 mcd fixing with epoxy complete as per manufactures instructions etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
