Provision of LT Cable from Power Station No.1 Near SFNA to TACAN Equipment Site at INS GARUDA

Supply,laying, testing & commissioning of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 240 Sq.mm 3.5 core including necessary lugs, cable gland, all as specified & directed. Note : The entire cable should be procured in single length without joints.

Supplying and laying unreinforced precast concrete cable cover, class LV, type 1, flat, size 250 x 150 x 40 mm, complete all as specified & directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtrs. wide and not exceeding 1.5 Mtrs. in depth excavated and getting out in soft/ loose soil all as specified & directed.

Removing the excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified & directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading and levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm with soil obtained from excavation all as specified & directed.

Supply and laying GI pipe Medium grade of size 150mm for cable protection , crossing on roads, canal, sewage line including all necessary fitting complete all as specified & directed.

S&F LT Cable route indicator of Cast Iron type Circle 100 mm dia marked as 'TACAN' including PCC base of size 300 x 300 x 300 mm all as specified & directed.

Supply,spreading and levelling riddled sand as earth cushioing to UG cable in trenches and rammed down to form a solid bed all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for straight through joint complete with jointing material heat strinkable type and accessories sutiable for 3.5 core XLPE, armourd, AI conductor cable of size 240 sqmm outdoor type complete all as specified & directed. Note : The number of joints required are anticipated & may be varied subject to site requirement.

Cutting roads / hard standing to a depth not less than 45 cm and not less than 40 cm wide for laying of GI pipe to draw the UG cable and making good the disturbed surfaces by filling of PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate and finishing the surface even and smooth with out using extra cement and disposed off the surplus debris and soil to a distance not exc 50 m complete all as specified and as directed.
