SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5 metre wide & n exc 1.5 metre in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits manholes, sewage pipe line, pier holes etc n. exc 10 Sqm on plan n exc 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified.

All as per item No. 01 about but exc 1.5 metre but not exc 3.00 metre in depth complete all as specified.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm thick each layer of soil all as specified.

Removing excavated material exc. 250m but not exc. 500m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (Salt glazed stone ware, AC or RCC pipes) 150mm dia including dewatering and desluging as required and removal of demolished materials from the site as directed.

Concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested, including forming cradles, in plain cement concrete M-10, nominal mix, type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, for bore of pipe 150mm. (For width and depth of PCC bed - refer preamble (a) (i) (ii) on page 385 of SSR Pt-II).

Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, laid and jointed complete with collars, bore of pipe 150mm, all as specified.

Sail-glazed stoneware drain pipes internal diameter of pipe 150mm, laid in trenches and jointed, complete as specified and directed.

PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors of bore 110mm, complete, including taking up or down old pipe, all as specified.

PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, fixed to wall of bore 110mm including fixing adjustable clamps screws etc. complete, complete, including taking up or down old pipe, all as specified.

PVC (SWR) bends any radius, 110mm bore (fitted with oval access door) jointing with solvent cement, complete all as specified.

PVC (SWR) reducer 110mm bore complete, jointing with solvent cement, all as specified.

PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, fixed to wall of bore 75mm including fixing adjustable clamps screws etc. complete, complete, including taking up or down old pipe, all as specified.

PVC (SWR) bends any radius, 75mm bore (fitted with oval access door) jointing with solvent cement, complete all as specified.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and any position not otherwise specifically provided for, complete, all as specified.

Plain cement concrete M-15, nominal mix, B-1 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5 metre clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, chamfered angles and throating, water troughs and like complete all as directed Note :- (i) The unit rate include for use of form work (straight or curved). (ii) Reinforcement if any shall be measured and paid separately.

Plain cement concrete M-15 nominal mix, type B-2 using 40mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in surface channel and drains all as specified.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms, moulds mitred/stopped end etc. all as specified.

Demolition of stones or brick masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches etc., but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work etc.complete,all as specified.

Walling random rubble masonry with best quality locally available stone, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded, solidly hearted and built in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand), all as specified. Note:- Locally available slate stone shall not be used.

All as per item No. 20 above but except stone. Note:- serviceable stone received from item No. 19 above shall be reused.

Fly ash brick work with old size bricks having crushing strength not less than 75 Kg/Sqcm, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), complete all as specified.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone surfaces and tiles with bedding etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified.

Rendering cement plaster 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) on fair faces of brick wall or concrete surfaces, surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, all as specified.

Plain cement concrete M-10, nominal mix, C-1 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in bond stone/bed for manhole, complete all as directed.

Precast cement M-15, type B-1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in landings, cover slab (for manholes etc.), chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces including chamfers, weatherings, throating etc. and setting in cement mortar 1:4 complete with joints to match, complete all as specified.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) of Roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar suspended work complete all as specified.

TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, all as specified.

Plain cement concrete M-7.5, nominal mix, type D-2, using 40mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in sub base, 150mm thick, as in manhole chambers surface, all as specified.

Salt-glazed stoneware gully traps, round mouthed, type 'P ', of size 150mmx 100mm, complete all as specified.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, any dia, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round 3/4 channel) in cement concrete M-15 type B-1 smooth, finished and reforming benching as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning/desilting of the drains by removing foregin materials /silt /greasy mateials /earth from the 150mm diameter pipe, bed/bottom width of drain exc 30cm, removing the excavated material from site to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.
