Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause 201 of Specifications for Rural Roads.

(ii) Excavation in Soil with Dozer with lead upto 100 m.

Excavation for roadway in soil by mechanical means with Dozer including cutting and pushing the earth to site of embankment upto a distance of 100 m, including trimming bottom and side slopes in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material (Stone Aggregate, as per Table 400.1), spreading in uniform layers with tractor with attachments on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, applying and brooming sand to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer ( Pug Mill ), carriage of mixed materials by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base / base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of three wheel 80-100 kN static roller to proper grade and camber, achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etc as per Tables 400.11 & 400.12 and as per Technical Specification Clause 406.

PMGSY Informatory Sign Board with Logo

Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY "Logo board/Logo Board at starting point" as per drawing and specifications of NRRDA having 1.6 mm thick 2 nos. 600 x 600 mm MS Sheet and 1.6 mm thick 2 nos. 1100 x 300 mm MS plate facing both sides of the alignment duly welded all Board with vertical square Post and 2 nos horizontal MS flats on back, embedding leg of MS square post of 75mm x 75mm of 12 SWG sheet in M-15 grade cement concrete 600 mm square size and 750 mm below the ground level and keeping 50mm height above the ground level, two coats of Epoxy painting on MS square flats and back side of the MS sheets over a coat of primer and two coats of ready mixed approved brand synthetic oil bound paint over a coat of Epoxy coated priming of rearside of the MS plates with Bands and letterings of different shades and sizes as directed and specified in the approved design with oil bound ready mixed synthetic paint complete in all respect. The rate of each Board is inclusive of M.S square, M.S flats, M.S plates, all labour, fabricating and welding charges, cost of paintings and primer, cost of carriage & fixing and all other incidental charges in this regard complete in all respect maintaining line and level as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including cost of protection, barricading and lighting etc.

Three MS Plates of 1.6 mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat 25mm x 5mm size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 Using 0.252 cum M-15 Cement Concrete

Providing and fixing "Citizen's Information Board" for PMGSY Project

Providing and fixing of typical Citizens' Information board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Two MS Plates of 2.0 mm thick, duly welded with MS flat iron 50 mm x 5 mm size on back on edges. The flat iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 76.1 mm OD (horizontal) and 2 Nos. 76.1 mm OD (Vertical) steel tube posts { as per IS : 1161 - 1979, Medium Class } duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 600 mm x 600 mm x 750 mm , 750 mm below ground level. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube and flats will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing and specification Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1

Providing and fixing Maintenance board

Providing and fixing of typical maintenance board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing with CC structure made with M-15 of Size 1150 mm in length, 300 mm in thickness and 2450 mm in height all above G.L. with foundation with M-15 concrete of size 1150 mm x 600 mm x 750 mm , 750 mm below ground level with skin reinforcemet with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 200 cm C/C from bottom of the structure. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of structure will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing and specification Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1- Board "A".

Kilometre Stone ( with RCC M15 grade using jhama brick aggregate ) :

Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade ( using jhama brick aggregate ) kilometre stone/local stone of standard design as per IRC:8 fixing in position including painting and printing, etc. as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1703.

ii) Ordinary Kilometre Stone (Precast) : Construction wing will add cost of 0.269 cum M-15 Cement Concrete and 1.88 Kg of Steel reinforcement

iii) 200 Metre Stone (Precast) : Construction wing will add cost of 0.048 cum M-15 Cement Concrete and 2.00 Kg of Steel reinforcement

Boundary Pillar : Supplying, fitting and fixing boundary pillar as per type design IRC:25 with cement concrete 1:2:4 with stone chips including cost of providing 2 nos. of 6mm dia M.S. rods of length 1.84m in the form of inverted U-shape as main reinforcements placed crosswise to each uther and 5nos. of round shaped 6mm dia M.S. rods used as binder, the placing of 1st binder should be at 75mm below the top finished suface and the other 4 nos. of binders should be placed at 1.85mm c/c and to be 90cm long with 20cm dia at the base tapering to 15cm dia at the top with head properly round and sunk inscriptions (as directed) at the side with 60cm embedment into the ground after making hole in the ground of size 50cmx50cmx75cm and repacking the hole properly with cement concrete 1:4:8 with stone chips anf finishing the exposed portion of 30cm length with white wash & painting the inscriptio as directed including the carriage of the post to the site with loading & unloading etc. complete in all respect as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1704 of Specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision). Construction wing will add cost of 0.022 cum M-15 Cement Concrete and 1.40 Kg of Steel reinforcement

Construction of road side pucca drain with M10 ( 1:3:6 with jhama brick aggregate) to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions as per approved design and Technical Specification Clause 307, 1606. Excavated material to be used in embankment at site. Trapezoidal drain ( top clear width 600 mm, bottom clear width 300 mm and clear depth of 600 mm

In Ordinary Soil

Rumble strips

Providing Rumble Strip covered with premixed bituminous carpet 20mm high at centre followed by Type B Seal Coat 250 mm wide each and placed 1 m centre to centre at approved location to control speed, marked with 30 cms. Wide white strips of Road marking paint placed 60 cms. centre to centre along the alignment. Using 20 mm premix carpet and Type B Seal coat for 0.26 sqm.

Guard Post

Supplying, Fitting, and Fixing R.C. Guard Post: 1.37m long with cement concrete 1:2:4 with graded stone chips of 13.2mm down casting curing complete including cost of providing 4 nos of 12mm dia MS road of length 1.54m as main reinforcement and 6 nos of round shaped 6mm dia MS rods used as binders; the placing of the 1st binder should be at 75mm below the top finished surface and the other 5 nos of binders should be placed at 245 mm C/C ; the guard post is of octagonal section with inscribed circle of diameter 24cm at the base tapering to corresponding dimensions of 16cm at the top including 2 coats of painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand to form 6 nos horizontal alternate brands in white/ tannery yellow and black to 90cm. length standing up above ground after mending good damages if any during sinking of shuttering, making hole in ground of 47cm depth and 30cm minimum dia, fixing the guard post in the same hole and replacing the earth thoroughly so as to keep the guard post standing properly erect in correct position true in line and length including carriage of R.C. guard post from stack yard to the site including loading into the truck and unloading at site complete in all respects.

Traffic Signs ( using jhama brick aggregate in CC/ PCC )

Retero Reflective Traffic Signs: Providing and fixing of semi reflective cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign board as per IRC:67 made of 1.5 mm thick MS Sheet duly stove, white colour in front and gray colour on back with red reflective border of 65 mm width and required letters and figures with reflective tape engineering grade as per Clause 1701.3.9 of MORD for Rural Roads of required shade and colour supported and welded on 47mm x 47mm x 12 SWG sheet tube firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade cement concrete 450 x 450 x 600mm, 600mm below ground level as per approved drawing Clause 1701.2.2.

ii) with 600 mm equilateral triangle MS sheeting

iii) with 600 mm circular MS sheeting

vi) with 600 mm x 600 mm square MS sheeting

Direction and place identification signs with size more than 0.9 sqm sign board ( using jhama brick aggregate in CC /PCC)

Retero-Reflective Traffic signs : Providing and erecting direction and place identification of semi reflective sign boards as per IRC-67 made of 2 mm thick M.S. Sheet duly stove enameled paint white colour in front and grey colour on back with reflective border of 70 mm width and require message, letters, figures with reflective tape of engineering grade as per MORD specifications of required shade and colour. Supported and welded on two nos. 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG square tube of 3050 mm height duly strengthened by 25 mm x 5 mm MS flat on edges on back firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade cement concrete 450 mm x 450 mm x 600 mm below ground level as per approved drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1701 and annexure 1700.1 of Specification for Rural Roads.

Painting Lines, Dashes, Arrows etc on Roads in Two Coats on New Work

Painting lines, dashes, arrows, etc. on roads in two coats on new work with ready mixed road marking paint conforming to IS:164 on bituminous/concrete surface, including cleaning the surface of all dirt, dust and other foreign matter, demarcation at site and traffic control as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1702

Road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/ colour using Hot Applied Thermoplastic material with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface: Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area by fully/semi atomatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater andprofile shoe heater including cost of cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign materials, etc., thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes complete as per Clause 803 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).
