PHASE – I [Schedule "A" Part – I]: [Sewage Treatment Plant, RCC Sump cum Pump House including B/R & E/M Works]:

Design and Construction [Hydraulically, Structurally and Aesthetically] of RCC Sump Well cum Pump House [RCC framed structure] suitable for average flow of 51 to 100 Cu.m per day [Approximate size of Sump Well shall be 6.50m in depth and 2.00m inner dia & Approximate size of the Pump House shall be 3.00 X 4.00 X 3.00 metres] including RCC foundation, container walls based on Hydraulic Data, Ground Data, Special Conditions, Particular Specifications, Architectural Drawings and other provisions given in tender documents including testing as specified including all internal and external finishes as per Zonal Specifications, all piping connections, Valves, Internal Electrification, MS Ladder, Ventilation Shaft, Brick work chambers with outer wall of tank of size 5m complete including testing for water tightness and hydraulic functioning, Vetting & Certification by IIT / NIT / Government Engineering College within one month of acceptance of tender, Preparatory works, Super Structure, Drainage Arrangement, Protective Works, Earthwork as required and all other items of work required and necessary for the complete construction of the facility complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Structural drawings of all RCC Structures required to be constructed shall be submitted duly vetted by IIT / NIT / Government Engineering College within one month of acceptance of tender. Reinforcement shall be High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed TMT Steel bars of Grade Fe-500D. All RCC works shall be in M-30 [Design Mix] Concrete all as specified in Particular Specifications. Cement of OPC Grade - 43 shall be used for all RCC [Design mix] work.

Design, supply, install, commissioning and testing of Sewage Treatment Plant [STP] based on principle of Soil Bio Technology [SBT] CAMUS-SBT [CSBT] having capacity 100 KL per day including all civil works for the STP and as per the Technology Provider(s) / OEM recommendations and all as specified at INS Viswakarma including MOU with technology provider M/s. Vision Earthcare Pvt. Ltd., CSRE Building, SINE, IIT Bombay, Powai, Mumbai – 400 076 [Phone: 022–25721317] to achieve the following parameters and other parameters as mentioned in the tender documents: Note: Bidders are free to enter MOU with any vender/OEM whose name is not mentioned in tender documents but approved by E-in-C's branch for providing STP based on Soil Bio Technology [SBT]

PART – C: [i] Electrical Work - 1 No Electrical Panel for operation of electrical units of Sewage Treatment Plant with 1 lot of Electrical cabling from STP Panel and various drives with suitable cables and Earthing etc. as required and as directed. [ii] Necessary foundation, valves, instruments, piping for inter connection garnets etc. as required technically as per OEM recommendations. [iii] Any other structure / Component / Pump / T & P etc. for smooth functioning of STP to achieve the outlet parameters.

Notes: [i] Since the design of STP shall be as per OEM, please note that unit rate quoted for Sewage Treatment Plant shall be deemed to be inclusive of full and final completion of work as per BoQ, Particular Specifications and specifications as per OEM recommendations read in conjunction with each other. Any item not covered in the scope but essential for smooth functioning of STP shall be provided as per OEM/Technology providers. The quoted rate is inclusive for the same. No additional claim whatsoever in this regard shall be entertained. [ii] Structural drawings of all RCC structures required to be constructed in the subject work shall be submitted duly vetted by IIT / NIT / Government Engineering College within one month of acceptance of tender. Reinforcement shall be High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed TMT Steel bars of Grade Fe-500D. All RCC works shall be in M-30 [Design Mix] Concrete. [iii] The complete scheme of STP shall be vetted by OEM / technology provider for its 100 KLD sewage hold by capacity and use of SBT technology.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in Soft / Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 10 Sq.m on plan area and depth exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3.0m and getting out in Soft / Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 10 Sq.m on plan area and not exceeding 1.5m deep in Soft / Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick of excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed. Note: A deduction of 10% shall be made from total computed volume of filling to cater in bulk irrespective of machinery used for ramming.

M & L for Moorum / Red Bajri filling under Floors or in Pavings laid in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, spread levelled and rammed / rolled with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity including watering to and consolidated to required level, gradient and camber required complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Measurements shall be taken after consolidation of earth and 10% deduction shall be made for payments.

Removal of excavated material [Soil] to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 100mm thick Sand filling as in sand bed to Inter Locking Paving Blocks including filling interstices complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Inter Locking Paving Blocks of 100mm thick, made with M50 Grade cement concrete using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, Hydraulically pressed of approved colour and pattern, shape and size conforming to IS - 15658 set in floors complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 75 mm thick PCC 1:3:6, Type C-2, using 40mm graded aggregate as in Sub base for flooring complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick watered and rolled with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified.

M & L for PCC 1:4:8, Type D-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in Foundation, Fillings, Mass concrete, Footings etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 150 mm dia RCC Pipes, Class NP 3, laid and jointed with collars laid in trenches and jointed complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 200 mm dia RCC Pipes, Class NP 3, laid and jointed with collars laid in trenches and jointed complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for concrete bed to drain pipes of size 150 mm bore packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and fitted in cement concrete, Type C2, 1:3:6, using 40mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for concrete bed to drain pipes of size 200 mm bore packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and fitted in cement concrete, Type C2, 1:3:6, using 40mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and laying 200 mm bore Ductile Iron Pressure Pipes, Centrifugally Cast [Spun], Class "K-9" with Spigot and Socket ends conforming to IS – 8329 in standard lengths suitable for Push-On Rubber Gasket Jointing with inside Cement Mortar Lining and Black Bitumen external coating complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, fixing and testing of Ductile Iron, Heavy Duty, Specials of any size, radius and length confirming to IS – 9523 such as bends [any type, radius and angle], tapers any type [straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc], sockets, tail pieces, connecting pieces, tee pieces, single branch, "Y" junction, double branch, cross, [all sockets or socket and spigot], collars, caps and plugs, adopters etc suitable for Ductile Iron Spigot and Socket pressure pipes complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for brick work with Fly Ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius built in Cement Mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rendering to brick / concrete surfaces, 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:6, including mixing water proofing compound as per manufacturers instructions and finishing the top surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Water proofing compound will be measured and paid separately.

Supply only integral water proofing compound [ISI marked] of approved make.

M & L for Plain / Reinforced cement concrete Type B1 [Nominal Mix] 1:3:6 using 20mm graded stone aggregate cast in situ in lintels up to 1.5m span, Cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings up to 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including use and waste of form work, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing Precast RCC 1:2:4, Type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in landings, cover slabs [for manholes etc], Chullah hoods, Chajjas, water troughs, mangers, Shelves and similar articles with plain faces set in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Use and removal of steel formwork to Edges of Concrete Flats, Treads, Breaks in Floors, Window Cills, Concrete Railings, Openings in Concrete Walls, Floor and Roofs not exceeding 20cm wide and sides of RCC / PCC Bands in Walls, horizontal or sloping and similar work exceeding 20cm wide for fair finished surface of concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as specified of type 410 SP–31, 9.00m long complete all as specified. Note: Earth work Excavation, PCC, Coping will be measured and paid separately. Rate quoted by the contractor is deemed to be inclusive of two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer, embedded portion in concrete shall be treated with tarring and sanding.

Supply and lay Bricks, common burnt clay building bricks, sub–class "B", Designation 75 in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Serial Item No. 71, 72, 73 & 74: [a] Good Earth shall be well sieved to pass 90% through IS sieve of 10mm size, free from stone rubbish like lumps, stones and other foreign materials suitable for gardening. The soil shall be fresh from quarry. The colour of soil generally be red and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. [b] Manure shall be well decayed, well dried, well powdered, without clabs and free from stones, dried grass and rubbish materials. The colour of manure shall be black and shall be screened at site using IS designation 4.75 Sieve. [c] Rate quoted is deemed to be including the cost of Removal of excavated material [Soil] to a distance exceeding 250m and not exceeding 500 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m complete all as specified and as directed.

PHASE – II [Schedule "A" Part – II]: Maintenance of Arboriculture Works during First Year of Defect Liability Period [i.e. 12 Months], Outsourcing of Services for Operation of Sewage Treatment Plant as provided under this contract as per Serial Item No. 2 of this BoQ / Schedule "A" Part – I for Five Years [i.e. 60 Months] after successful Completion of work under Phase – I and Comprehensive Maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant as provided under this contract as per Serial Item No. 2 of this BoQ / Schedule "A" Part – I for Two Years [i.e. 24 Months] after successful completion of Defect Liability Period:

Maintenance of Arboriculture / Plants / Grass as provided under Serial Item No. 71, 72, 73 & 74 of BoQ by weeding, hosing, saucer melding once in every 15 days, planting new Plants / Grass in place of dead Plants / Grass of same species and height with out any extra cost to the department and as directed complete during Defect Liability Period complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Rate quoted shall be deemed to include for all labour, materials, tools & plants and regular watering, using sprinklers, including supply and spreading / spraying organic manure, chemical fertilisers, pesticides to the required extent complete all as specified.

Outsourcing of services for operation and maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant of capacity 100 Cu.m / Day installed at INS Viswakarma, Visakhapatnam as provided under this contract as per Serial Item No. 2 of the BoQ, during First Year after successful Completion of work under Phase – I complete by providing services of One Skilled Technician / Operator [ITI Qualified] and One Helper with 3 years relevant experience and trained in Operation and Maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant in One Shift of 08 Hours per day including Sunday and Holiday including maintaining conveyance and communication system like mobile phone etc. and minor consumables and expandable items, tools for smooth and efficient operation of Sewage Treatment Plant to the entire satisfaction of users / department complete all as specified and as directed. Note: [a] To take care of housekeeping, environmental cleanliness of Area up to 20m all around installation shall be kept absolutely neat and clean and free from vegetation. [b] To maintain all installations provided under this contract as per IE Rules / Standard Engineering Practice and maintenance of Installation Log Books and Maintenance Register. [c] The staff employed shall be having proper uniform as approved by GE.

All as per Serial Item No. 76 but Second Year after successful Completion of work under Phase – I complete all as specified and as directed.

Comprehensive Maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant of capacity 100 Cu.m / Day installed at INS Viswakarma, Visakhapatnam as provided under this contract as per Serial Item No. 2 of the BoQ including all consumable materials / chemicals [Chemical such as Sodium Hypo Chlorite and any other chemical as required, Oil and Grease required for operation of the Plant] during Fifth Year after successful Completion of work under Phase – I complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Serial Item No. 81 & 82: The quoted rates shall be deemed to include the following operation: [a] Preventive and breakdown maintenance of all the equipment by regular oiling, greasing changing of gland packing, replacement of nuts and bolts etc. during the period of work order. [b] To take care of housekeeping, environmental cleanliness of Area all around up to 20.00m all-round the STP and the area shall be kept absolutely neat and clean. [c] To provide chemicals such as Sodium Hypo Chlorite and any other chemical required, oil and grease required for operation of the plant. [d] To maintain the installations provided under this contract as per IE Rules / Standard Engineering Practice. [e]The Sludge generated by the Sewage Treatment Plant shall be disposed by the contractor as per manufacture's instructions, OEM directives and as per instructions of the Engineer-in-Charge. [f] Spare parts if any, required for Operation / Maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant during the currency of defect liability period shall not be included in the rate of this item. The cost of spare parts to be replaced for operation maintenance of Sewage Treatment Plant shall be borne by the contractor as per conditions of the contract. [g] Periodical maintenance shall be carried out by the authorised representative of the original equipment manufacture [OEM] of the Sewage Treatment Plant. [h] The Contractor shall be responsible for safe custody of the lab instruments glass work. Shortage, breakage etc. and the cost shall be borne by them during Operation and maintenance. [i] Electricity and water for operation of the plant will be supplied by the Department free of Cost.
