REPAIR / MAINTENANCE OF EXTERNAL HT LINE INCL MAINT OF TRANSFORMERS , GOD SWITCHES AND CONNECTED WORKS AT TA, KERI UNDER AGE (I) CIF (R)

Taking down broken/defective PCC/steel tubular pole, keeping away from site and S&F of steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as specified type 410 SP-55 (11 meters long) and applying two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer,the embeded portion shall be applied with two coats bituminous paint complete all as specified and directed.Note : PCC & Earth work will be measured and paid seperately.

Taking down defective/ broken anti climbing devices from pole and keep away from site and S&F in replacement of same item, comprising 2.24mm dia galvanised steel 2-strand barbed wire with 2.00mm dia barbs wrapped spirally round poles, to a length of 0.5 to 1.0 metre clamped and properly secured or as ordered complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Clamps will be measured separately.

Taking down of existing unserviceable cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates and S&F in replacement of same item fabricated from Structural Steel Sections including Nuts, Bolts, Washer, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for Bolts, in any shape or size as indicated/ directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down of existing unserviceable Danger notice plate and S&F in replacement of same item of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M S Clamps, bolt and nut approved size for HT poles, 25 x 20 cm size including taking out old unserviceable danger notice plate complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement for Stay assembly complete with accessories as shown in electric plate No.1 stay rod 16 mm incl taking down complete (loop type insulator stay clamps excavation & concrete measured separately) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Loop type insulator vitreous porcelain, brown or green with overall dimensions 65 X 90 mm, clearance of hole 16mm all as specified and as directed.

S&F replacement of Lightning Arrestor expulsion type complete with all Fittings Transmission Class discharge capacity 65 KA suitable for working pressure of 11000 Volts, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down of existing unserviceable/broken Switch Air Break Gang Operated for 11 KV grade and keeping away from site and S&F in replacement of same item, Triple pole vertically mounted having 12 insulator and fitted on steel frame suitabe for, current rating 400 Amps, mechanically operated mechanism consisting of Operating Rod of GI Pipe 25mm bore (dia) ‘light grade’ of suitable Length worked From Ground Level and with Locking Arrangement Mild Steel Flat Iron Clamp 50x6mm including Expulsion Fuse, Single Pole, Channel type/ drop out type suitable as per Site requirement with Working Pressure 11 KV grade of capacity 50 to 100 Amps including taking down unservice-able Fuse , complete all as specified and as directed.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4.0 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanised steel and connected to main switch board or main control board as directed and including provn of concrete pit in PCC (1:3:6), type C-I, pre-cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover slab 54 cm X 54 cm X 5 cm 9Reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 150 mm, center to center both ways) with one handle for lifting made out of 8mm dia MS bar, provision of funnel, wire mesh, 20mm bore galvanized steel tubing (Medium grade) for watering, charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers, 40mm bore galvanized steel tubing light grade for protection of earth lead connection, necessary excavation and earthwork in any type of soil and including necessary testing, complete all as per electrical plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 Part-I, all as specified and directed.

All as per Srl item No. 09 above herein before but with GI strip of size 32 X 6 mm, complete all as specified and directed.
