CONSTRUCTION OF TOILET BLOCK 03 AT CSL -ISRF, WELLINGDON ISLAND, KOCHI

Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in all kinds of soil in required depth including shoring, strutting, dewatering dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, backfilling with useable earth and disposal of unsuitable earth , compaction using mechanical equipment, disposal if any inside ISRF site premises, by suitable means, all equipments, labour, all incidental expenses etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and filling with suitable borrow material as per specifications including supply and transportation, placing in position at all levels and creating suitable bunds, levelling the surface at water-logged areas or wherever directed by engineer-in-charge, including supply, lifting, loading, transporting, unloading, breaking of clods, watering, compacting each filled up layer, by flooding/ ramming/ plate compactor or any other mechanical means, including all materials, labour, equipments, other incidental expenses, etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (The quoted rate shall be inclusive of Royalty if applicable)

Providing and laying in position Plain cement concrete, in 1:2:4 Nominal mix with 20 mm down graded coarse aggregate in binding layer / fill under footings,floorings, screed, damp proof course etc. in level and line, including dewatering, ramming, levelling, curing, shuttering, de-shuttering etc. including all materials, labour, equipments, incidental expenses etc, complete as per approved drawings & specifications at all levels and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and casting Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:1.5:3 grade for strip footing ,columns, beams, lintels, chajjas, slab, chamber etc. at all levels ,including shuttering, de-shuttering compacting with mechanical vibrators, hacking, curing,scaffolding, all equipments, labour, incidental expenses etc complete and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item).

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including supplying , straightening, cutting, bending, binding with double ply of 22 SWG soft annealed wire and placing in position Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more bars of approved make, upto all levels and including handling and transport and supplying & placing concrete cover block of astra make or approved equivalent etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Only authorized laps, spacer bars, chairs embedded in the concrete will be measured for payments).

Providing & applying coat of residual petroleum bitumen of grade VG-10 of approved quality on damp proof course after cleaning the surface with brushes and finally with a piece of cloth lightly soaked in kerosene oil as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying Solid concrete block masonry using blocks of size 300mmx200mmx200/150/100 mm in sub-structure and superstructure , in cement mortar 1:5 using approved quality blocks including raking of joints, curing etc including all materials, labour, installation charges, incidental expenses etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing &fixing Fiber wire mesh in strips of 200mm width over junctions between concrete block masonry at all heights and locations prior to plastering including fixing the mesh using appropriate method etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying internal plaster 12 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 at all heights & locations for masonry and concrete surfaces including projections and soffit of slab, including scaffolding, chipping, hacking and cleaning the concrete surface, watering, finishing & making grooves, bands, carvings, moldings, curing etc at all levels complete as per approved drawings & specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
