MAINTENANCE/ REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY INSTALLATIONS, TRANSFORMERS, TWO/ FOUR POLE STRUCTURES, VCBs, HT PANELS, HT/LT CABLE AND HT GOD SWITCHES INCLUDING PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND ALLIED WORKS AT NAVAL BASE

M & L for general maintainance of 11 KV VCB's of different capacities and comprising the following: Disconnecting and dismantling the existing indoor type, 11 KV horizontal draw out type VCB trolly of rupturing capacity 250/350 MVA, 400/630/800/1000 Amps from location and repair /overhauling and carrying out with the following and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: spare parts will be measured & paid seperately.)

(a) Inspecting / overhauling of manual / motorised spring drive mechanism by checking mechanism, motor and gear assembly, big gear assembly, stop bolt assembly, main shaft interlocking assembly, closing spring assembly, small cam with screw,motor cut -off limit switch, butter fly switch assembly and apply multi grease lubricant to function smoothly. (b) Inspecting / overhauling of earthfault release assembly, tripping coil, auxilary switch etc and checking of electrical wiring system. (c) Calibration & Testing of over current & Earth fault relay by primary & secondary ejection methods. (d) Insulating of VCB track, greasing of wheel and checking for few movement for closing and withdrawing of VCB track. (e) Cleaning/wiping the insulating components, primary & secondary circuits i.e green spots, carbon deposited completely.Inspecting / overhauling /cleaning and inspecting through insulators, vacuum interupters by carbon cleaner solution and apply dry graphite conductive sealant for electrical contacts to avoid carbon deposits on contact surfaces. (f) Testing of primary & secondary circuit with 1000 Volts megger for insulation resistance. (g) Flash testing of secondary circuit at 2000Volts for one minute after disconnecting the instruments from the panel. Assembling all items/components parts to the respective postion after high voltage test complete. (h) Testing, sychronisation / calibration of meters and relays. (i) Cleaning/wiping of busbar, phase barriers, Busbar support and sleeves. (j) Scraping & painting the VCB (06 Nos) with approved quality of grey paint all as directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Dehydration of tranformer oil, obtained from transformers/voltage stabilizer etc. Dielctric strength shall not be less than 40 KV in 2.5 mm gap electrode after dehydration. Dehydration of transformer shall be carried out by using electrically operated dehydration machine including replacement of unserviceable silica gel and toping up/ replacement of unserviceable transformer oil complete all as directed. Note :- 1) Silica gel & new tranformer oil for top up shall be measured and paid against respective item. 2) Filteration of transformer oil shall be off loaded position of transformer.

Supply and filling transformer oil of approved quality ISI marked for filling in transformer for topping up/ replacement complete all as directed by Engr-In-Charge. Make: power/castrol/servo/asian/savita/electric. Note :- (i) Dielectric strength of transformer oil not less than 60 KV with 2.5mm gap. (ii) New oil which is to be supplied for filling should be in a sealed barrel/container only.

Supply and fixing in repair of breather with 500 Grams silica gel for transformer upto 400 KVA, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking of old silica Gel for dehydrating Breather of transformer, cleaning the breather internally and externally and filling new silica gel blue colour in dehydrating breather.

M &L for painting of transformer upto 400 KVA capacity any type with one coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer after cleaning, scraping, and filling of cavities for out side surface of transformer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor of cable size 95 sqmm complete all as specified.

M & L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (earthed) grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor of cable size 95 sqmm complete all as specified.

M & L for Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of of cable size 95 sqmm complete all as specified.

S& f in replacement of Switch air break gang operated triple pole mechanically operated mounted on insulator and steel frame out door type suitable for vertical installation single brake provided with locking arrangement, rocking tilting type consisting of MS channel ,HT post type insulator ,copper alloy high pressure assembly ,operating rod of GI pipe medium grade confirming to IS-1818 of 1972 ,suitable for 11000 volt ,400 Amps all as specified.

S& f in replacement of Lightning arrester non linear type complete with all fittings distribution class discharge capacity 65 kilo amp, current rating 5 kA suitable for 11000 volt complete with all fittings including taking down old

S& f in replacement of drop out fuse assembly for 11 KV, 3 Phase of 100 Amp capacity each pole, consisting of galvanized steel base paper fuse carrying brackets, mounting channel, separating rod complete all as specified as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling of U/S existing cross arms by means made from channels, angles, U/S FI clamps, nuts, bolts etc. from OH line and removing complete.

M&L for Cross arms ,bracings,supports,clamps and back plate fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts ,bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide .

Supply and erect in replacement of steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, nuts and taper plug , bolts, nuts and screws as specified type HT pole type 410-SP-55 (11mtr long)

Taking up of under ground HT Cable of any size along with protection cover/ bricks and removing from site all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L XLPE insulated screned PVC beded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured earthed electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium couductor 11/6.35 KV grade suitable for earthed system cross sectional area 95 sqmm 3 core H.T.U.G cable laid in tranches/through GI pipe/fixed along with pole complete all as specified & directed Note -Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of schedule.

Taking down unservisable U/G LT cable from trenches, wall, floor etc single/multicore any type,size all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S& F in repair XLPE insulated armoured and pvc sheated heavy duty electric cable size 4 core ,10 Sqmm cross sectional area with aluminium conductor 1100 volt grade as per IS 7098 (Part-1) 1988 with latest amendment laid in tranches passing through pipes /ducts including testing complete note- rate is inclusive of cable gland & cable lugs Note -Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of schedule.
