Earth work in excavation all type of road structures such as retaining wall, brest wall, culvert,drain and parapets etc. in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock,hard rock chiesling/wedging out rocks(where blasting is prohibeted) as per drawing and techanical specification Clause305.1 (Three hundred five point one) including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and diposal upto all lead and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable material. All work of excavation by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosions, damage to hill side,water pollutions etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock,. Stacking of maerials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unserviceable excavated materials in specified manners to dumping site (to be arranged by the contractor) trimming, filling of unevenness blindages and finishing of the road to specified dunensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge if the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnt water of water is met with in the excavation due to spring rain seepage and other causes, it shall be removal by the suitable diversion, bailing out or de watering as directed and the area of the foundation shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of execution shall be the sole responsibility of the contrcator. Which sall haveto be duly compensated by him at his own cost of all cases.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203. Plain cement concrete Grade M-10 complete within all leads, lifts carriage of material and other incidentials. including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated nominal mix 1:4:8 (one cement : four sand: eight graded stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimeter) nominal size for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated nominal mix 1:5:10 (one cement : five sand: ten graded stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimeter) nominal size for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Back filling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1204.3.8 including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidental charges as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Boulder material

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing walls, return walls with 100mm (hundred millimeter) diameter PVC Pipe extending through the full width of structures with slope of 1(Vertical) : 20 (Horizontal) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4mm dia GI Wire confirming to IS 280 and IS 4826 in 100mm x 100mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 % extra for laps and joints laid wirth stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg each as per drawing and trechnical specification clause 1301 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 (one point five) metre, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with any lead 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material spreading in uniform layers with tractor mount grader on prepared surface mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC and compating with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, greading-I complete as per technical specification Clause 401 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific sizes 63-45mm (Sixty three to forty five millimetres) to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN (eighty by hundred Kilo Newton) in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading-II by manual means as per technical Specification Clause 405 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific sizes 53-22.4mm (fifty three to twenty two point four millimetres) to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN (eighty by hundred Kilo Newton) in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading-III by manual means as per technical Specification Clause 405 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental charges and as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and applying primer coat low porosity with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) (Slow setting-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface with hydraulic broom and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85 Kg per sqm (zero point eight five kilogram per square metre) using mechanical means as per Technical Specification clause 502 including hauling of material within all leads and lifts and other incidental charges and as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-I) (Rapid setting-I) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.275 Kg per sqm (zero point two seven five kilogram per square metre) on the prepared granular surface treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification clause 503 including hauling of material within all leads and lifts and other incidental charges and as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm (twenty millimeter) thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm (thirteen point two millimeter to five point six millimeter) aggregates using penetration grade bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 1.46 Kg per sqm (one point four six kilogram per square metre) to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty-one hundred kilo newton) static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type B as per Technical Specification Clause 508 by mechnical means including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying seal coat with penetration grade bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 0.68 Kg per sqm (zero point six eight kilogram per square metre)sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type B and as per Technical Specification Clause 510 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing of retroreflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide Clause 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm (one point five) milimetre thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm (seventy five milimetre into seventy five milimetre into six milimetre) firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 450 mm x 450 mm x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per drawings and Technical Specification Clause 801 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and erecting direction and place identification retroreflectorised sign as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide Clause 1701.2.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 (two) mm thick with area not exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel single angle iron post 75 x 75 x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 (fifteen) grade cement concrete 450 x 450 x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per approved drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1701 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Road marking with hot applied thermoplastic compund with reflect rising glass board on bitumenous surface .Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 (two poin five) mm thick including reflect rising glass beads @250 gms/sqm thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC :35 . the finished surface to be uniform and free streaks and hole including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 Nominal mix (1:2:4) (one cement:two sand: four graded, crushed stone aggregate) including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and erecting a "W" Metal Beam Crash Barrier comprising of 3mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam guard rail 70cm (seventy centimetre). Above road/ ground level fixed on ISMC series channel vertical posts 150x75x5mm (one hundre fifty into seventy five into five milimetre) thick spaced 1.50 metre (one point fifty metre) centre to centre 1.80 metre (one point eighty metre) high 1.10 metre (one point ten meter) below ground/ road level all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot deep process, all fittings to confirm to IS: 1364, metal beam guard rail to be fixed on the vertical posts with a spacer of channel section 150x75x5mm ((one hundre fifty into seventy five into five milimetre), 330mm (three hundred thirty milimetre) long complete as per clause 810. complete including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Painting two coats including primer coat after filling the surface with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new, plastered / concrete surfaces as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1701 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
