Excavation in soil work in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road, and clause 16.2 of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding.The recovery of 247.60 (two hundred forty seven point six zero) Cum @ 300/-Per Cubic (three hundred per cubic metre) meter amounting to Rs.74280/-only shall be done on prorate basis for the quantity of cutting in earth work effected as per the direction of Engineer-in –charge.

Providing and laying, sperading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing rolling with three wheel 80-100 kn static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming crushable screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregates , watering and compacting ot the required density grading as per technical specfication clause 405 (53 to 22.4 mm size ) (fifty three to twenty two point four millimetre) including hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.90-1.0 Kg/Sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502 including hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing applying and laying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor as the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared grannla surface treated with primer cleaned with hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503 including hauling or material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 25 mm (Twenty five mimlmetre) thick bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 (seventy five) tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG10 (ten) @ 5.4 to 5.6 (five point four to five point six) percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 509 complete in all respects as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals .

Providing and laying V-shape road side Cement concrete drain 45x25cm(forty five x twenty five centimetre) with cement concrete 1:3:6(one cement:three sand: six graded stone aggregate twenty five milimetre nominal size)40mm and down gauge with thickness of concrete as 10cm (ten centimetre) including cost of form work and earth work complete including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and as per HP.PWD., specification of 1990 volume-I and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge..
