Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and getting out in hard/ dense soil for pipe trenches all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick with approved soil obtained from excavation all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50 metre and depositing at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point all as specified and as directed.

M&L for repairs/rectification of leakage in UG cast iron /Galvanised iron pipe/DI pipe by means of choking lead wool/ pig lead or tightning of GI fittings/ DI fittings complete including excavation and earth work for exposing the joints and working space on the site, returning,filling in and making good to the existing earth level of the surroundings after repair for the following sizes of pipes all as specified. Note;- (i) Rectification of leakage shall be attended and rectified by the contractor on the same day of reporting by the Engr-in-charge. Non rectification of leakage of pipe line shall be viewed as serious lapse on contractor's part and penal charges as Rs 100/- per complaint (ii) Supply only Lead wool/pig lead shall be measured and paid seperately. (iii) In case excavation beyound 1 mtr from both side of the joint and spares required the same shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Material and labour for construction of brick masonry valve pit of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 60 cm (internal dimensions) with one brick thick wall in cement mortar (1:4) on 100 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40 mm graded aggregate) as in foundation, 15 mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) internally and externally up to 15 cm below ground level including, provision of valve pit cover made out of 3 mm thick MS sheet welded with 40 x 5 mm thick flat iron all round, on ISA 40 x 40 x 6 mm frame, fixed with hold fast 150 mm long, embedded in PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (Block size 230 x 200 x 100 mm) with necessary hinges, handles, locking arrangement, including applying two coats of white wash on plastered surfaces and two coats of bituminious paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces and ncessary earth work in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Suply and fix in repair brass spindle for sluice valve 150mm with GM check nut (as per sample) suitable all as specified and directed

Note Item no 1 to 45 : If any major break down of water supply at site with in 24 hrs of receipt of intimation from Engineer-in-charge and contractor shall ensure that the fault is rectified with in 48 hrs of receipt of intimation from engineer-in-charge any failing which recovery of Rs 300 per hour shall be recovered from the contractor dues w.e.f the time immediatley after the expiry of 48 hours duration.

M&L De-watering, removing all mosses, algae and dirt from internal walls, floors & mouths of pipes of RCC overhead reservoir/ under ground sump by using steel wire brush and cleaning with high pressure industrial vacuum cleaner including removing of dirty water completely using sludge pump set and disposing off the same to a safe distance and applying of anti bacterial sterilization spray to internal surfaces using Zero bacterial compound (Sodium hypochlorte) or equivalent approved chemical complete and writing the date of cleaning on outside of tank/ sump using synthetic enamel paint of white colour over black background with letters of size 100mm height x 100mm breadth complete all as specified and directed for the OH Reservoir of 75000 Gallons capacity with 24 metre staging all as specified and directed.
