Renovation of Empty Bag Godowns at FACT (Cochin Division), Ambalamedu, KOCHI

Dismantling AC / GI / Tufflite / Aluminium/Zincalum sheet roofing, side cladding etc and depositing the debris away from plant limit within a distance of 150 m.

Dismantling AC/Aluminium/Zincalum ridge pieces and clearing away debris from the plant limit.

Dismantling the existing structural carefully without damaging the remaining portions including conveying and stacking at places pointed out initally & then removal of structural after cutting to suitable length to FACT ,Phase-1 scrap yard through mechnical means (Measurements will be based on actual weight taken at FACT's weigh bridge if required by Engineer-in-Charge)

Demolishing brick work in cement mortar manually / by mechanical means; including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 meters lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge at all levels.

Supplying, Conveying, fabrication and erection of structural steel work bolted or welded at all levels as per scope drawing for trusses, purlins, louver brackets, louver runners bracings, stair cases, platforms, hand rails ladder, threaded sag rods, splices, etc. with M.S angles, channels, tees, flats, RSJs, rods, pipes and plates including cutting, welding, cleaning, erecting and painting with two coats of zinc chromate primer (one shop coat and one coat after erection) and two coats of chemical resistant enamel paint of approved quality and colour over the primer including supply of necessary MS bolts and nuts other than holding down bolts.(The structural steel material shall be of M/s. SAIL / RINL / TISCO /JINDAL make)

Erection of fabricated structural (dismantled or serviceable) at all levels such as trusses, brackets etc. including conveying repairing if any by straightening, cutting, welding etc. and erecting to lines and levels as per deptl. instructions.

Painting with one coat of zinc chromate yellow metal primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint using approved brand & quality at all heights after cleaning the surface including cost of all paint and materials, labour charges etc.complete as per deptl instructions

Providing non-asbestos high impact Polypropylene reinforced cement, 5.50 mm minimum thick, corrugated sheets (as per IS: 14871) of suitable colour as approved by Engineer-in-charge, roofing up to any pitch and fixing with polymer coated J, or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm dia. G.I. plain and bitumen washers or with self drilling fastener and EPDM washers etc. complete (excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses), including cutting sheets to size and shape wherever required

Providing corrugated serrated adjustble ridges or hips in Non- asbestos fibre cement high impact polypropylene reinforced roofing with suitable fixing accessories or self drilling fastener and EPDM washer , etc. complete as per instructions.

Chipping & removing old cement plastered surface including racking out joints & clearing the surface for replastering & disposal of the debris as per directions within a distance of 150 m.

Cement plastering with CM 1:4,15 mm thick one coat floated hard and trowelled smooth at all levels including cost of cement

Pointing on stone work with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand)

Providing and fixing scaffolding system for all type of works using 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical joining with cup & lock system including necessary working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners,connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge (The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding).

Applying water thinnable cement primer one coat for exterior and interior walls of approved brand and manufacture at all heights including cost of all materials, labour etc.complete

Wall painting with two coats of premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour.

Painting with two coats of acrylic emulsion exterior paint of approved brand and shade at all heights as per manufacturer’s specification including cleaning the surface well.

Supplying and fixing pure polyester powder coated aluminium frame work of extruded sections and approved brand/manufacturer including mitring the joints, fixing the frame work with necessary screws, drilling holes in floors, walls and ceiling, providing plugs for fixing screws, finishing the sides of packing between frame work and wall/ceiling with plaster of paris, cost of timber packing if necessary, rubber lining for air tightness, providing corner cleats, etc. complete as per standard practice for glazed doors, windows, side hung as well as sliding windows, ventilators, partitions, handrails etc. including all hinges, pivots, tower bolts, peg stays, fixtures, and pure polyester powder coated aluminium approved brand beadings, handles & approved locking system at all levels.(Payment will be given for the weight of aluminium sections only)

Glazing the Aluminium frame work of windows with 3 mm or nearest thick plain glass panes and anodized Aluminium approved brand beadings, with EPDM / NEOPRINE weather seals, gaskets of EPDM or PVC etc and screws as per standard practice at all levels (Measurement for overall area of doors / windows / ventilators)

Supplying fitting and fixing rolling shutters/rolling grills of approved make, with 80 x 1.25mm M.S laths interlocked together through their entire length and jointed together at the end by end locks mounted on specially designed pipe shaft with brackets, hood made out of 18 gauge sheet steel ball bearings, side guides and arrangements for inside and outside locking with handles and with push and pull operation etc. complete including cost of providing and fixing necessary 27.5cm long wire springs grade No. 2 and with 1.25mm thick top cover and preparation of surface by very thorough scraping and wire brushing using power tools and painted with two coats of chemical resistant enamel paint of approved quality and colour over two coats of zinc chromate primer as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Collecting ,conveying and Disposal of building rubbish / debris / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by manual/ mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved areas for filling, spreading in layers as per directions of Engineer-in-charge (20%deduction will be made if measured loose in lorries/from stack) - For an average lead of 2 KM
