CMC FOR FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEMS INSTALLED AT MH JODHPUR AND HQ CEJZ UNDER GE (ARMY) NO. 02

Material and labour for repairing/servicing the Electric induction motor and Centrifugal pump coupled type by carefully disconnecting the connection cables and earthings, disconnection of electric, water supply connections both side (suction and discharge side) and fixing of dummy plates as per site requirement. Removing side covers, servicing, greasing, changing of gland packing, gaskets, defective minor parts and re-assembling, testing, preparing the surfaces of the motor and pump for painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint and commissioning the motor and pump of capacity 60 to 75 HP, 3 phase to the satisfaction of complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: (i) The rent of T&P for handling the pump motor assembly during dismantling and refixing is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by contatcor. (iii) Major spare parts of motor will be measured and paid separately under following respective items.

(a) Supply and fixing in repairs Gland bush suitable for 60 to 75 HP, 3 Ph existing pumpset complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(b) Supply and fixing in repairs Ball bearing suitable for 60 to 75 HP , 3 Ph exisiting pumpset complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(c) Supply and fixing in repairs CI Impeller suitable for 60 to 75 HP , 3 Ph pumpset complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(d) Material & Labour for rewinding the armature housing of exisitng upto 75 HP , 3 Ph Electric induction motor dismantled with super enameled copper winding wire of appropriate gauge of thermal class “E” insulation including testing after rewinding complete all as specified and directed by Eng-In-Chrage.

(e) Supply and fixing in repairs MS coupling with rubber seal suitable for exisiting upto 75 HP , 3 Ph induction electic motor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(f) Supply & Fixing in replacement Star Delta starter complete unit suitable for 60 to 75 HP , 3 Phmotor including single phase preventer and connected accessaries complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L required for inspection, maintenance and servicing to existing upto 80 HP , 3 Ph Diesel driven engine fire fighting pump Make:Kirlosker for 'B' check as per the recommendations of manufacturer including replacement of necessary recommended filters, engine oil, 'O' rings etc. making it serviceable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:-Major spare parts will be measured and paid separately under following respective items.

(a) Supply and fixing in repairs Diesel filter (Primery&Secondary) suitable for existing upto 80 HP , 3 Ph Diesel driven engine fire pump complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

(b) Supply and fixing in repairs Engine oil filter suitable for existing upto 80 HP , 3 Ph Diesel driven engine fire pump complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

(c) Supply and fixing in repairs Air cleaner element suitable for existing upto 80 HP , 3 Ph Diesel driven engine fire pump complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply & fixing 1.50 M battery lead with negative & positive brass terminals of suitable size, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

M& L required for servicing and repair self starter 12 V for Diesel driven engine fire pump including replacement of parts such as corban brushes, solonaid, rotor,washer, nut, bolts etc assembling the same and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. .

Taking down old unsv earthing and M&L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth 4.0mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical Plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth wire protected by galvanized iron 15 mm bore light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of strata, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE :(i) The concrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40 mm thick pre cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-( ii) Item includes the cost of GI pipe up to 7.5m for protection of earth strip. Any variation in length beyond 7.50 m shall be measured separately.(iii) Item includes cost of earth wire up to 7.5 m Any variation in length beyond 7.50 m shall be measured separately.(iv) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.

Supply and fixing in repairs four Pole contactor not less than 125 Amps for existing upto 80 HP Diesel driven engine fire pump complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs four Pole contactor not less than 125 Amps for existing upto 75 HP pumpset complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs contactor not less than 25 Amps for existing upto 10/15 HP pumpset complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs indicator lamp set RYB for phase indications suitable for panel to match with the existing one complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & Fixing in replacement Single Phase preventer for 3 phase motor for star delta starter suitable for existing motor complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge.

Supply & Fixing Voltmeter 0-500 volts square /round digital type including taking down old unsv complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge.

Supply & Fixing Amp meter 0-200 amps square /round digital type including taking down old unsv complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge.

Supply and laying in replacement Synthetic insulating mat of size 2mx1mx10mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply only Engine oil 20 W 40 turbo synthetic superior quality engine oil suitable for existing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. (Note:-The make of engine oil used in Diesel driven engine fire pump should be as per recommendation of Manufacturer of DG Set)

S & F in replacement of inlet and outlet fuel pipe from fuel tank to engine as per existing size and make complete all as directed by Engineer-In-charge.

M&L for Sand cushioning to protection of underground cables, laid 8 cm before laying and 15 cm after laying of cable, and punned to form an overall layer of 18 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : Punned thickness shall be measured and sand cover to UG cable,

M&L for factory made un-reinforced pre cast concrete cable protection cover LV class type - I with size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm laid across the cable (i.e. width of cover along the length of cable) for UG cable protection on the top of the sand cushioning, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of LT cable XLPE insulated galvanized steel strip heavy duty armoured electric power cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade 16 sq mm 2 core confirming to IS:7098 (Part-I), suitable for earthed system, laid in duct/trench/along pole/wall etc including nuts, bolts, washers, saddles & screws etc and making connection, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : 1. The cost of Al thimbles/lugs and cable gland etc is included in quoted rate and no extra payment will be made for it.

M& L for Cleaning of MH roof storage tank /U/G sump of capacity upto 20000 Gln, first with plain water and then with the bleaching powder after cleaning making white wash of the inner surface with the lime complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- The job shall be completed within 8 hrs to avoid any interruption in the system

Supply & fix in replacement of unserviceable battery 12 V, 150Ah with maintenance free battery 12 volt initially charged including taking down old unserviceable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for preparing of old steel surfaces and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint of existing colour for following fire fighting equipment (i) DD Pump - 02 Nos, (ii) Pipe lines upto 100mm bore with all Valves - 1.5 KM (approx) (iii) Hose cabinet box-20 Nos, (iv) Hose drum - 10 Nos etc with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of existing colour in MH & HQ CE office Fire Fighting Pump System. Note: Prior Approval of colour sample of paint should be taken from Engr-in-Charge before applying also numbering & lettering of equipmets will be done complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply & Fixing of rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks of capacity 500 Ltrs (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified including dismantling the unsv tank and necessary connections inlet and outlet should be done complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and Fixing in replacement Fire Brigade gun metal Inlet connection 2 way of size 63mm, inlet 3' NB flanded, outlet- female instantaneous with grey cast iron handle wheel with fixing arrangement viz- GI flange 100 mm/GI flange 80mm, GI bend 80/100 mm, GI nipple 100 mm/GI nipple 80 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for inspection and functional testing of entire fire fighting syatem at Military Hospital Jodhpur and CEJZ including following activites (i)visual Inspection of the system to ensure all components are good condition ,properly installed and free from damage (ii) Actively triggering different componenets of the system to ensure they activate as intended (iii) simulating realisitc fire scenarios to asses the systems efficetiveness in supperssing a fire and verifying that pump delivers correct water pressure and flow rate etc complete all as specified and as directed by engineer-in-charge :- Note : Testing will be carried quartarly and cost of minor repair is included in quoted rate.

M & L for repairing of stone masonary valve pit type B of size 120cm x120 cm x 120cm(Internal Dimension) of chamber for sluice valve by providing M.S sheet 3.15mm thick with handle, locking arrangement and one no pad lock of 65mm size for double/single door, PCC work 1:2:4 with 20mm graded stone aggregate necessary excavation, plastering with cement mortar 1:4, 15mm thick finished with floating coat of neat cement, PCC copping type B1 ( 1:2:4 with 20 mm graded stone aggregate M.S angle iron of size 40x40x6 mm complete as per latest TD Drawing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair Sprinkler glass bulb type (Standard response) as per IS:15106/TAC guidelines 68 degree temperature rating pendent type complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge.
