Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil by manual /mechnical means including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road, August, 2004 and clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of useful material for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. Recovery for stones whether usefull or not for 99.10 Cum @ Rupees 300.00 (Three Hundred only per cubic metre ) shall be done on prorata basis from each running bill of this item.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and technical specification clause 305.1 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all leads and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of waterincluding entire carriage of materials within all leads lifts and other incidentals and per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and Laying Cement Concrete 1:5:10( one cement : five coarse sand : ten graded stone aggregate 40mm( forty millimetre nominal size) aggregate nominal size and curing complete including the cost of form work for plain/reinforced concrete in retaining walls, breast walls as per drawing and technical specification clauses 800 & 1604. entire carriage of materials within all leads lifts and other incidentals and per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry /stone masonry/plain reinforced concrete abutment,wing wall and return wall with 100mm ( One Hundred milimetres ) dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of structure with slope of 1:20 ( One vertical twenty horizontal ) towords drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 614.709,1204.3.7 including carriage of materials with all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer in Charge.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Back filling behind abutment , wing walls and return walls complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification 2014 Clause 1204.3.8. with Granular Material and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.
